What's keeping me busy · 6:42pm Feb 16th, 2019
I bet some of you are wondering why I haven't updated any of my fics by now. Well, there are a couple of things which are keeping me busy, all because of one thing. I'm going back to school.
It's a follow up study for the course I've already completed over a decade ago now. I've been thinking about doing this for a some time now, and decided now would be the right time for me. I'll be going back next September, which gives me some time to take care of a important issue that comes with this decision: the cost.
In order to be able to pay for this, and not end up being kicked out of my apartment because I can't afford the rent, I have begun to work extra hours at work, which means each Tuesday and Thursday are no longer available to me to write. Saturday, as well, is busy because of this, though I am free late afternoon.
Still, this does cut any free time I have down considerably, which will only become less when I do go to school come September.
Does that mean the time between updates will become even longer than normal? I try not to.
Right now I'm planning on doing a multi chapter update for all my fics, meaning Guilt of a Phantom, Silver Spirit, The Baltimare Incident (which I have left to gather dust for far too long), and Celestia's Side Trip.
Goap's chapter is as good as done, just needs some fine tuning.
SS' chapter is well under way. I'd say about half way, maybe 2/3 complete.
TBI's chapter... well, I still need to start with that one, in all honesty.
CST's chapter is about halfway complete.
So here's why it has been so silent... well, more so than normal. Still, I hope to be able to send the chapters to my editors to pick them apart not too long from now. And I hope to be able to update within a reasonable time frame.
Feel free to hold this against me in a month or two when things are still not showing any signs of progress.
