Okay, hi everyone. It's Pi Day. I forgot about that and had no pie today. Then again, maybe I should blame dyscalculia again. I have no clue. I've been... not doing so well? I'unno. Ice Star is a bitter bean. Not much is new. What will be new is a new chapter of Enemy of Mine that I am close to done with, writing stage-wise.
What I'd like to waste this blog blathering about is Lunbra and also coping or something. Probably 'or something'. There are writers on this site that generally devote a fair slice of blog time talking about mental health. Be it mental health in general or their own, they open up about the subject. I generally don't, not directly. If some people make insightful blogs about how they experience anxiety, I just make a throwaway reference to it existing and that I probably maybe experience it. Or something else.
But clearly, I write for more reasons than I want to and how it helps me empty a brain full of Story Things and Pony. If you had zero idea that I liked Lunbra, you must be an amnesiac follower.
So, on the subject of 'Ice Star adores writing as an outlet and his particular fondness for ponies is what currently dominates that writing outlet' let's get one thing straighter than I'll ever be:
Hi, my name is Ice Star. I have a Lunbra addiction, and it is one that you'll never be able to pry from my cold, dead typing-hands.
Maybe that doesn't quite fully explain why I'm a maniac who decided to build an AU-ish tumor of over a million words rooted in me wanting to write about these two. That would be understandable. It also doesn't quite explain why I yanked over 300,000 words of Lunbra out of nowhere because I wanted to amuse myself and give a cute horse pairing I l i k e d a Very Good and Big Mandatory Adventure Fic that All the Cool Ships Have. Maybe I even rambled about that one before? Either way, it doesn't explain why I necromancied a Lunbra group into being and gave it a contest.

What you should know is that I generally have too many ideas, too few Ice Stars to produce them, and too much chronic sadness. While this is a very good reason why I should be able to have duplicates of myself in order to do whatever seemingly mundane thing I want because fuck you, most of the things I want aren't illegal. Clones can make fanfiction better. Use 'em as an underpaid editing team. It's not like anyone else is writing or drawing them, because a) I've got zero competition and b) rare pairs rare pairs something something taste.
This means that I wouldn't mind hearing about something with Lunbra I haven't done yet. This is also why a particular story was tagged. I miss getting to write little novellas and the like while I march the overall Iceverse storyline forward and do Boring Adult Stuff and More, Even More! So, if y'all ever had something you wanted to mention in a comment about a neat idea for something like a) more Lunbra shorts? b) sequel to the thing tagged of about the same length or c) some sort of kind-of-standalone-ish Lunbra thing, now is the time to mention it. This way, I'll have something to keep in mind for writing if I ever want to plot out a side-project or move a wordy diversion to my focus. Anything about the romance of these two and putting out some new installment of wordfuckery.
In conclusion, my brain doesn't give a single shit about what its been doing for the past month. Vegetables are fun. Sleep is boring. My fingers make words flow fast. I always need more coffee. Who rambles, me? Yes, me. I give zero fucks. Boredom is meant to be beaten with a strong word count.

Sleep is a government hoax no one has time for images
I’ve had an Idea floating about my head that I think you might be able to do something with. A “reformed” Sombra (backstory for that is up to you) is having a good time with his new approach to life. However due to (Insert sadistic, mad, semi-original bad guy here) wanting to entertain themself, they put Sombra in a position where he must lead the very empire he once enslaved(as part of the rules of this game the bad guy want’s to play) into battle against the evil forces this bad guy has created. Sombra’s scared of becoming a ruthless dictator again and doesn’t want to lead the Crystal Empire’s people and military, and is consistently paranoid about his actions. If he doesn’t lead, however, everyone everywhere dies with no opportunity to fight back. Insert a Luna x Sombra romance element that develops over the course of the story, then get yourself some WW1/WW2 battle scenes with troops fighting “War of the Worlds” level enemies, as well as healthy amount of war time casualties, and ta-da! You’ve got a romantic Lunbra war story, with room for your own original ideas! What do ya think?
