Rarity, Dash and Fluttershys section is taking a turn for the odd. I mean I was going to make some characters pop up in importance when Ponyville was back in action to provide a slight thematic element for the later parts of the story with Tempest when she appears again. (Which honestly besides a few appearances every once in a while that plot thread will be rather low until the stuff turns bad- blame the movie but she does attack when they least expect it. And after about a year with Starlight I need some slow yet important chapters.
And honestly trying to plan out big war scenes- while very fun- takes a lot of work. And sprinkling in horrible war atrocities is better than having them every chapter- quality over quantity.
So ironically I’m going to be slightly having a plot thread pop up again- and even though it seems really odd- the barely a thread of the CMC dealing with bullies will pop up again since it ties into good character scenes in my head and ties into the vague discrimination I mentioned with Tempests little rant.
I oddly love and hate my story at times cause I see it laid out as a spiderweb at times- things tie into others and every character has good moments to me.
Unless I wrote the character as horrible as I could and even the worst characters in my head have either twisted good intentions or a slight good quality.
And for those that wonder about IRL stuff- I got switched to a slightly different position at work and tentatively I like it slightly better but I only did it once so I can’t say if it’s a perfect fit.
But I think it’s possible- though I haven’t exactly figured out a way to request days off and i have a few doctors appointments at the end of the week. And one more the week after. Dunno. That’s going to be a possible talk. So that’s going to be a pain and awkward but we are going to get past that hurdle- or not I don’t know.
It’s weird cause people say I’m doing pretty decent for my first week overall. And the only way I’d miss work if I was either deathly ill or had a doctors appointment. I guess I’m slightly a workaholic but that runs in my family.
I'm a workaholic too...
When I get free days off I tend to spend them writing or off doing fun shoots... Feels weird now when I have a day with nothing planned but break.
Good to hear about with work, hopefuly it will also mean that you can keep working toward a better balance of work/life.

I know what you mean about spiderweb... its a pain and a large part of why I'm needing to slow my release pace down.

I mean it’s not going to be fully weird, but with how I’m setting up all the plots now- at a point it looks like there is no rhyme or reason for stuff. And yet I seem to plot by almost throwaway lines when thinking about how this chapter is weirdly setting up entire scenes for later just because I mention one thing.
My plot seems all over the place until I realized I had been searching for ways to add in all the stuff that had been floating around my head.
