Working on Sisters for the Bronycon Bookstore - No April Fooling · 5:31am Apr 1st, 2019

If there is anything that makes me regret using so many footnotes, it is putting together a dozen plus of my stories for printing. FYI: This will be the third book I plan on bringing, provided my sanity lasts that long. Many thanks to katiepox at DeviantArt for allowing me to use her 'Sisters' for the cover art (below), to Bad Horse who allowed me to use two of his short stories, and to about a thousand editors who helped sort out the collection of stories (also below) that fit in with our beloved mischievous royalty:

The Prankster Princesses Collection

A look at life from the perspective of an expanding pony race that does not suffer from insanity, but rather enjoys it

(and loves inflicting it on others)

In Celestia We Trust, All Others Pay Cash - Sometimes life in Canterlot just doesn’t make cents.

Betting the Moon by Bad Horse - Luna has a little gambling problem. She lost. Bigtime.

Socks by Bad Horse - A new fashion craze sweeps Canterlot. Emphasis on ‘craze’

A War of Words - The Opening of the Guard - When toilet paper, alfalfa, and rock music made the Royal Guard accept its first female recruits.

Princess Celestia’s Most Memorable Birthday Present - Twilight can’t find the perfect present for her beloved Celestia’s birthday, so she makes one. A large one.

How Many Princesses Does It Take - The sun is a light bulb.  Celestia says so.

From Princess Twilight Sparkle, President of the Twinkle-Nebula-Frie-Neutron Family Reunion - Twilight proves she is not the only nut in the family tree.

Princess Twilight Sparkle - Mistress of the Night — She vants to read your books, blah, blah.

My Brother The Tooth - Shining Armor is a tooth.  Luna says so.

My Niece The Star - Princess Twilight Sparkle finds out where her new niece came from.

On The Natural Rise and Fall of Celestial Bodies - Celestia and Luna are retiring. Kinda.

Cutting the Chord, Swinging the Hammer, and Dropping the Piano - Princess Twilight Sparkle faces the return of her greatest foe: Her mother’s gift of a persistent Steingraeber & Söhne Early Depression Recovery piano that refuses to die

Flurry Heart’s First Kiss - Equestria’s youngest princess knows what she wants: cookies.

Twilight Sparkle Lays an Egg - Princess Twilight Sparkle discovers a secret about alicorn reproduction that she never expected.  So do the rest of the princesses.

Bonus-There Goes The Neighborhood - At one time, Mount Olympus was the home of the Greek gods. Then they let the first pony in.  There goes the neighborhood.

TOO THE MOON!:flutterrage:

Argh, I’m gonna have to buy this.

THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD?! :pinkiegasp::heart::twilightsmile::yay:

(Is there any way those of us not going can pick up a copy?)

5036230 5036195 5036117 Yes, when I get to the point where I say "Ok, it's all ready to be printed. Let's see how many copies I need to have them run off." I'll post a blog note *and* email everybody who perked their ears up in the responses (like you just did). I'm just glad this wasn't as popular as Past Sins (around $35 hardback, and I love my copy), because the concept of spending a few thousand dollars getting books printed, then piling my kitchen table high with UPS labels and stamps... no. Just no. It's sounding like maybe two dozen. This *may* run around $10 each, because that's what the 300 page numbers seem to work out, and at last check this was running at 280 or so. Heck, I've got space enough to stick another one or two shorts inside (if I had them).

I haven't quite decided if I'll be going to Bronycon or not, but this is a collection I'd like to see next to my copy of Fallout Equestria. As soon as you've got pricing, I'd like to get in on the action.

(As hectic (if that's a strong enough word) as Estee's life is, have you considered asking them to fill that last 20 pages?)

5036453 Hm.... Can't hurt to ask. Let me drop her a line. (edit: email sent, we'll see what happens)

Editedited: And I sent a note to Bad Horse asking if I can use The Gathering too.

5036734 New addition:

The Gathering by Bad Horse - In the stars, the alicorns gather to mourn, to mate, and to give birth. Meanwhile, Dotted Line wants Celestia to review tax rebate applications.
