There's a huge difference between allowing your works to be printed versus actually making the book yourself. If it weren't for the wonderful help of RBDash47 at Ponyfeather Publishing and the lovely anonpencil, I probably would have thrown my hands up in frustration and shipped something over the finish line that's a much worse final product than what I actually am delivering.

But looking at the text and pre-print PDF's right now, I can pretty proudly say that my "Award Winning Fictions" have never looked better or have been this clean looking before. I already have a quantity in mind for how many I'm going to be purchasing and bringing, signed, to Bronycon. And if it's not much more effort, I may add paperback copies to the already planned hardback copies of the book.

Working on this book and insuring it's the best quality possible led me to take a step back from a vast majority of the writing I had been working on. But now that the Pony Print Anthology Vol. 1 is completed from my end, my hands are tied as far as the Lyler book, This book is one cover and printing press from existence, and I need to hear more details on the Lyler book before the Date book becomes a thing... things have calmed down enough to the point where I can breathe and try to find time to write rather than just read and work on this book that's been sucking the joy and life from my soul.

Speaking of reading, I want to take a moment to call out Freglz's Lapse of Certainty of which I've taken a part in editing and proof-reading. His work is pretty impeccable. I highly suggest giving it a read.

Aside from those things, I have nothing new to proclaim. Working on this book and seeing everyone else on fimfic working on their own respective books as well as the feghoot contest has been a humbling experience. It's pretty cool to see these things grow and change overtime and everyone's hard work come to fruition. I'm considering writing some pieces for the feghoot contest, but haven't fully decided. I've wanted to try my hands at an Aristrocrats story, just to see if I could pull it off and make some folks laugh, but given the rules exclude M rated stories, I may just take the time to do it as a warm up to a contest entry that matches the spirit of the competition better.

Of course, I'm promising literally nothing right now, as my plate is -too full-. It's been too full for months and im tired of it being full, so I'm picking off things one by one so I can just move on and get back to some form of normal, every day life.

I love you guys. I appreciate all of you sticking around for so long and all the support I've gotten over the years. My hope is that this book can properly show the growth of not only my writing, but my dedication to put something in your hands I can be proud of. Now that I have experience with this, I'd love to give Office Love the same treatment, and using the motivation of a book, use that momentum to actually get it out the door and completed.

But what else is new i suppose.

how are you folks?

While it would not be eligible for the contest, I encourage you to write that M-rated feghoot and submit it to the NSFW Feghoots folder.

I encourage you to take a nap on my behalf

Also, at the risk of being pedantic, The Aristocrats isn’t really a feghoot, since it doesn’t end with a pun. That said, I should probably make some folders for stories that are related to but not feghoots.

EDIT: Friends of Feghoots folder created!

I know what requires a piece of writing to be a feghoot. I've written a lot of them. I was implying in the blog that I'd take my own twist at an Aristocrats story. It's quite possible for a deconstruction of the routine to be written as a feghoot, which was my intention.

Thank you for your concern, though.

I see. My apologies; I did not at all mean to imply you were a dumbshit.
