If it had been Pinkie Pie, she probably wouldn't have been as bothered.
As it is, I (and I think they) thought time-travel was a fundamental impossibility, so she's getting mindbucked AND being warned about something so serious time-travel is required, AND that all just spirals down and down into an eventual suicide attempt due to her own special, unique brand of insanity.
