Hello everyone! I am MLPfan1907 (formerly MLPSolarDash) and I am writing my first ever Pony fanfic!

I have been wanting to do this for so long but didn't find the right story, where it should fit into the show's continuity, and when I did start, it just felt flat. So, this has been a long time coming for me, I did want to do this during Season 8, but I didn't and I later felt as if the story should fit best after Season 8, Best Gift Ever, but before Season nine. There WILL be season nine elements but not in the same sense as in the official canon.

I suppose in a large sense is that this is my very own Season nine. And just so you know, there are some ideas way down the line (won't say when) that are very similar to some of season nine, but this story was being planned LONG before the season even aired.

To a huge point of this, I want people to enjoy this story and what I produce for the Pony fandom to enjoy. I want a friendly environment where we don't lash out at one another or be toxic in any sense. While I am a friendly guy, I do have the right to stand up for myself and be firm with people. I've been learning that over the years as I grow up, even before I got into My Little Pony.

Now some ground rules; (don't mean to be mean but firm)

This is my story! This is a story I am telling!
You can't tell me how things should and shouldn't go.
I will not allow discussions going too deep themes, philosophies, character actions in the show, or the sort. I am writing this because I want people to enjoy it and I want to enjoy writing it.
It is a project meant for fun, not up for serious debate, discussion, or anything of the sort.

Sure you can discuss what is going on in the story and some of the story's messages but in a friendly, understanding and a respectful matter. That's what the fandom's way should be and how things in this world should be.

I will release chapters by my timing and when I feel comfortable doing so!
The story has a Part 1 with 2 acts and when I finish publishing an "Act" I'll put the story on "Hiatus" until I feel comfortable starting to publish the next "Act." There will be more Acts, I know how Part 1 will go and I have a good roadmap for down the road. I want to get the story right, and I maybe (MAYBE) one day update my chapters that're better written sometime in the future.

I will not listen and comply with people's demands on "hurry up" or "where is the next chapter" kind of thing. I will make this very clear; you cannot rush through a process such as storytelling. Speed isn't the point; quality is the point, also;
Quality over quantity!

Trust me, there's no one else out there that wants it out more than me!

Any constructive criticism is welcome in any friendly way and something that helps me improve my writing skills, do NOT in ANY circumstances tear me down (or other people) in their writing. This is my first Pony fanfic and (again) I want to have fun writing it and for people to enjoy it.

I may sound strict but I have had some experiences with people who do not comply with these rules and/or have seen the same toxicity going on with other people's stories. I am being like Fluttershy, she is very kind but when push comes to shove, she must be firm and assertive (as she's come to learn especially in later seasons).

Those experiences, growing up, and My Little Pony has taught me these lessons and it's something I am very very grateful for since I'm not exactly the most social person, but that doesn't mean I can't be social, I just have kinks I'm working out as I grow up. I'm pretty wary on the internet.

I do have someone that I do go to for writing advice, tips on characters, and making sure the story is flowing smoothly. He's the only one I can trust with helping me along, getting it done right, though I know a lot, he's a valuable source of writing info and advice.

Anyway, I don't want to intimidate people by putting this out there, I just want them to know I have the right to be assertive when push comes to shove. I love people and I love people reading good or great stories, which is something I hope my story; Nightfall Over Equestria will be.

PS: This isn't the first time I've written fanfics. I used to write Kung Fu Panda stories (and some Sonic the Hedgehog but they're not published), and you can check them all out if you want. But I don't think they're as good as they seemed so long ago.
