Journal Entry - Volume 6 - Chapter 5 · 3:40am Aug 25th, 2019
Dear Journal,
The strange creature my brother Kane spoke of some time ago came to our village today while I was away training. His scent is... foreign to me, as it was to the Matriarch. For the safety of all, she ordered him tested. Besting some of our strongest with relative ease, he decided to speak with mother.
I do not know what was said during that meeting. However, whatever it was must have impressed her greatly, as she allowed him to chose one of us to form a Life Pact with. Why he chose me, I do not know. My brother Kane would have been the logical choice had the human not given him his freedom. This mindset of his... puzzles me. Perhaps that is one of his greatest strengths though. Being unpredictable. Being... unable to be read accurately. Such things are beyond my understanding, but... I do wish to learn his secrets. What exactly is it that grants him strength? Why is he doing this? How is he doing this?!
But most importantly... what is his end goal?
Brains over brawn will stand out every time.
