Alas, the time has come. One of my good friends, Fregz, has completed his magnum opus. A Lapse in Reason, the story about a human named Philip and the Wonderbolt Fleetfoot (Or as we call her, Fleetybee) becoming friends, and then oh so much more. It is rated M, and honestly there's only like, two explicit chapters (one is exploration of bodies, second is the actual hot smexy times).
I highly recommend it, not just because I helped pre-read and edit for a long ass time, but it really is a wonderful story full of characterization and immersion into a version of Equestria that steals borrows our technology and culture. Blended with the old time feel that Equestria already puts forward, it is a unique blend.
So if you're at all into romance, background ponies, and Human in Equestria, really, go give this one a read. Ending out at 257k words, it is a lot, but if most of us can power through Admiral's Silverglow's Journal, then damn it all you can do this too.
Congrats, Fregz. You did a magnificent story, one that will hold out time and time again as a top favorite of mine, and I hope others.

I highly recommend it also, probably one of the most authentic feeling relationships I’ve seen written on this site. Very happy I randomly stumbled upon it when I returned to fimfiction a few months ago.
15 months, 36 chapters and 258,000 later and it's finally done. And after all this time, you still haven't got the name right.

But thanks for your help in getting this done, and for being a creative wall I could bounce ideas off of. You have no idea how much time you saved me, and we both know some pretty bad choices I might've made otherwise. It was also great hearing your taste in music, and meeting another afficionardo of the big band era of the pre-fifties.
