I'm gonna make a story · 2:06am Apr 15th, 2020
While reading through a multitude of stories (so like 10) ranging throughout all the various genres (just 3 of them) within this site, I have humored the idea that I could add something worthwhile to its immense archive.
Naturally, my first thought was, P3nc1ls, don't do this. You'll spend a week constructing something 'artistic' only to find out later that it has enough edge to make a thorny devil look cuddly. Just stick to reading the good fanfiction, or even the bad fanfiction because you like to torture yourself for some reason.
Then, after a little (lotta) time mulling it over, I figured that maybe I could make something good. As of now, though, I still have no idea how I'm going where I'm going to take it. It's sort of in this state between T-rated and M-rated. It would make more sense to make it T-rated, seeing as I would get a larger audience, but then there are, you know, things I want to put in it that would stick me with the M-rating. Of course, that leads to my fear of swan-diving of the edge into a pit of spikes. Hell, I'm not even confident about how the prologue sounds.
Despite all of this, I do want to write a story. Will it be well-received? Will it be popular? Will it all turn out to be a big waste of time? Will I just end up hurting myself in the long run? These are all questions that nobody can answer unless I try.
Edit: Maybe
