The contest deadline has come! · 8:44pm May 3rd, 2020

Okay, the submission period for the contest is officially over! And with 167 entries, I’m really happy with how much participation there’s been ... and a little bit apprehensive about needing to read, judge, and review them all in only a month! But I’m going to get it done on time, just you see.
If you submitted a story to the contest, please do not edit it until you see a judging review posted in the comments! If you must edit it for some reason, PM me and explain what you’re changing. I may ask you for a pre-edit version for contest judging purposes.

The Contest Submissions folder is now closed, but if you have a late contest entry, you can now add it to the Honorary Submissions folder. It will still be blogged about, read, judged, and get a review, but it will not be eligible to win any of the prizes.

I will be making one small exception to the rules: If your story was waiting in Fimfic’s moderator queue when the deadline hit, I’m going to allow that story to be added in after the deadline. (I think there were three such stories, and they’re all in now. If this applies to you and I don’t know about it, please PM me to let me know!) That’s because it’s not (entirely) your fault that your story wasn’t submitted on time, and everyone in that situation is a very new writer -- and the whole point of this contest was to encourage new clop writers. To qualify for that exception, the story must have been submitted before the contest deadline, and it must have still been in the Fimfic moderation queue when the deadline hit. Stories using this exception will not be eligible for the Orgasm Denial (last valid entry submitted) prize.

I’m also working on setting up the contest’s poll for all of you to vote on who should win the Crowd Pleaser prize. That should be ready to go on May 6th.
