Chapter 2 Author's Notes

I remember struggling like crazy to write this chapter. I mostly had issues describing the world around her without sounding like a broken record. I think the way it’s now is fine, but I’m still probably gonna rewrite it in the future. Just because I’ve improved so damn much.

This chapter underwent two rewrites, and I remember it was very messy to edit as a consequence. Oops.

Also, I don’t plan on strictly adhering to canon fallout perk descriptions and level requirements. I won’t pull any bs like giving her a lvl30 perk in chapter 3 though, don’t worry.

Besides that, this was yet another boilerplate/exposition chapter (which is why it’s so short). Starting with next chapter, the main plot lines will start, and the fic will start picking up.
