But writing motivation has been lacking as issues in my personal and professional lives have picked up. For the latter, I've worked a slew of additional hours the last couple weeks, and on the home front, I've got a painful shoulder and knee as well as a home desktop that just failed and requires replacement.
Okay, technically I could probably get away with just replacing the hard drives, but as my desktop is eight years old and my monitor over ten, it's time to upgrade both. So I ordered a new one of each, but that leaves my writing (and prereading) options limited to my phone for Google Docs until it arrives and I can get it set up.
The good news is that despite all this, I do have a finished draft--finally--of the next Temptations & Transformations chapter, which I'll be submitting to prereaders tonight. It came to me slowly this time, as I found myself only adding a few hundred words a day to it. Motivation was lacking due to all of the above and the fact that I think my muse is ready to shift back over to Firefly for a spell. There's a scene for a new chapter I very much want to write there. About what, those of you who read both stories ask?
Well, after dumping on Blueblood here in Nightmare Night, I figure I should give him--or at least, his ancestor--a far more respectful treatment in Firefly. So I will do so. In the meantime, enjoy the new T&T chapter, which should be released in the next couple days.

Real life has to come before ponyfic. Here's hoping the near future's better than the near past.

Oh man, I recently had to upgrade my dad's monitor. It was an old Dell 2405 from the mid 00's. While it sucks to have to replace, a new monitor after so long will be a joy.
Feels bad man! But you'll have time to catch up on what I'm writing later. There's no rush to get this story my new story out. No one asked for my story, they're just getting it. I do think you'll like some of the clop ideas I rolled with though. Reminds me of my Foolers Rush In days, very ambitious stuff.
I'm quite eager to read to read more of both Nightmare Night and Firefly. I hope that your problems won't last for much longer.
