    It's taken a bit to come up with material, but the next chapter is in the works and sitting around 2k words. Like the previous chapter, it will take place over a school year.

5371469 Synthetic fur. I was going to say something about ponies developing it because of general consensus in their culture on wearing the fur of another animal over their own, but people wear leather, which is basically the skin of other animals, just tanned and processed. More likely, they would have developed it as a way to get the furs they wanted without all the waste that would come from hunting. They would have no use for the meat, organs, or bones, as far as I know.
