It helped me get over the insomnia was suffering from at the time.
I don't think I lasted past the sparkling.
My sister read the book and she saw the first movie. She left the theatre hugely disappointed and never watched it ever again
I watched all of them don't remember them at all mostly because I was high on flu meds and had my GF next to me so my mind wandered a bit

It's pretty bad and it's a shame because the Vampire lore in that world is actually kind of cool when you look into it, it just sucks that the story is a trash attempt at romance with 3 main characters that are either melodramatic all the time (the 2 guys) or a blank slates with no personality (Bella)
A very bad presentation of both vampires and werewolves. Bad character personality bad story telling that would be enjoyable to young teens but to fans of horror movies its complete garbage
As an avid movie-watcher, I've seen much, much worse movies. Twilight, the entire saga, it is a sin against humanity, vampires, romance, literature, cinema, structure, and acting, but it is not the worst movie ever. It ranks up(down?) there with the legends. And we are talking about pure fucking awful movies, not so bad they are good, funny, boring, or entertaining to make fun at, no, just pure, concentrated shit scrapped out of Lucifer's rectum itself.
I watched it with my GF at the time. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be but forgettable.
