    Unreal.

Hello all. Like always when I make posts on here these days... it's been a while, eh?

I do not even know where to begin, exactly. I know it has been an eternity since I posted a piece of writing on here, and that even includes blog posts... but that's okay.

MLP Gen 5 Movie: A Review (but only sorta since like half this review is gonna talk about Hitch Trailblazer lol)

To be honest, prior to watching the MLP Gen 5 movie, I had literally ZERO hype for it. I walked into it with virtually no expectations... and honestly, I was actually expecting it to be kinda, well, bad.

    Semester is Over LMAO

Quote from my last blog: "However, the semester is starting back up, and it's looking busy as always, soooo I will have limited time to work on it. The thing, though? I am still gonna keep working on it. I'll make time."

    ....

    Ha. Hahaha, hahaha. Hooheeha.

    Chapter 2 Posted!

Hey y'all. I managed to post the 2nd chapter of my niche passion project in a semi-reasonable time frame! WOW! Granted, it's not the "BIG ONE" yet, but I already have a start on that one and it's going well. This chapter is sort of the calm before the storm... and it'll be a storm for sure.

Election Day 2020 EDIT: FUCK THIS COUNTRY · 9:40pm Nov 3rd, 2020

Hi everyone,

Are y'all freaked out? Because I am. I am convinced at this point that the entire fabric of this country's democracy is at risk if Trump wins. That is not an exaggeration and I am not overreacting. And even if he loses? Who knows, man. Civil war, or at least large-scale violent civil unrest, has never looked so likely in the modern era of the USA. The tensions here are absolutely crazy right now.

And then, there's what happened in 2016. I remember being lowkey happy Trump won that election, because "hurrdurr Hillary sucks oWn tHe LiBs!!!" And while I wasn't a fan of Trump, exactly, I considered him maybe a populist that this country actually needed, even if he was "kinda" an idiot. I considered him the lesser of two evils, and I fucking voted for him.

Holy fuck was I more wrong about that than I could have ever imagined. This man is an aspiring tyrant, and he has the rabid, cult-like backing of maybe 30% of this country who would literally do anything if Trump says so. If Trump shot their mothers in front of them, and told them Biden possessed his body, they'd all start chanting "lock him up!" at Biden. Trump says COVID is no big deal, even as it is on track to kill more Americans in one year than World War 2 did in 4 years? Nah, it's no big deal. Just the flu.

And if Trump wins again, ANY sense of goodwill toward us as a country, including from our allies, will be lost forever. It will never recover. We were duped by this narcissistic charlatan in 2016, but fool me once... yeah. We'd be done. No recovering from that.

And then... there are the polls. What happened in 2016 was incredible, but if it were to happen again? The polling error would have to be DOUBLE what it was in 2016. The polls this year specifically accounted for the systemic errors with underpolling non-college educated voters, and they were pretty accurate in 2018 for congressional elections. And if Biden wins Pennsylvania or Florida, it's over. If Trump loses Georgia, Florida, or North Carolina, it's also basically over. The polls do look eerily similar in some ways to 2016, but we shall see if the polls are better this time. I fucking hope so. They can't be TWICE as bad, can they?

Stay safe, everyone. Stay safe.

EDIT: Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina are all likely Trump. Biden now needs either Ohio, Texas, or Arizona.

Fuck this country for this shit to even be this close. Unbelievable.

EDIT 2: Trump wins Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. Arizona might hang on blue. Michigan looks like dogshit, but Wisconsin looks alright. Pennsylvania has not counted hardly any mail in votes yet, so still a toss up for Biden. If Biden wins Arizona and Pennsylvania, he still wins. But this is too fucking close.

Do you think the supposed BLM looters could be agent provacateurs from the Trump camp? I've heard such accusations, but there's so many lies I don't know what to believe.

The odds of a civil war are slim to none

Currently having a mental break right now. NYT is calling FL for Trump, does not look good. Fucking Florida is looking to doom us again cause of Cubans afraid of "socialism" from Joe Biden. We are doomed. Brb gonna throw up.

5391608
No way. That sounds very conspiracy-esque.

5391614
Here's hoping not.

5391682
Florida was always gonna be red IMO. Biden doesn't need Florida, but he does need either North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Ohio, or Texas. If none of those, then he NEEDS Pennsylvania.

Certainly looks like shit so far, though. I'm shocked by the Latino vote, too. What the actual fuck.

5391686
Sorry, it's been a weird year.

5391687
No worries, it's all good!

We were fucked either way. Do you want the racist, creepy-around-women, out of his mind guy on the Red Team, or the racist, creepy-around-women, medically losing his mind guy on the Blue Team? With the Reupblicans, I at least see the logic in running Trump; he won once, let's run him again. But the Democrats? Are they trying to lose? What were they thinking with Biden?

I've been old enough for two elections now, and I feel like I have yet to actually have a choice. System's broke and I don't know how to fix it.

Kinda hoping Biden wins bc hopefully no riots, but kinda hope Trump wins bc living in fear of rioters means they win. But like, would I rather be shot in the right foot, or the left foot?

5391730
Biden is a piece of shit, but Trump is a big steaming pile of shit. Trump's response on COVID alone should have torpedoed any chance of him winning. But no. This country is retarded.

For me, voting for Biden is shooting myself in the right foot with a .22 rifle. Voting for Trump is shooting myself in the left foot with a 12 gauge shotgun.

As for fixing the system? We can't. We can't even vote fucking TRUMP out after everything that has happened. If Trump wins, I'm going to be completing my clinical work here, and then I am moving to another country as soon as possible for my Ph.D. I'm done with the USA.

5391686
Kinda curious, what made you change your mind about Trump? Like, specifically? Your story sounds familiar, a lot of people voted for Trump because Hillary didn't create enthusiasm. Back in 2016 I didn't like Hillary (I still don't), but I voted for her because I didn't want someone like Trump, who seemed utterly unhinged and borderline authoritarian. I guess I was right about that.

I don't know how Cuban voters were convinced to vote Trump, Biden is obviously not a socialist in any way.

And now NYT is estimating Georgia and North Carolina definitely go Trump. Full doomer time. fuck this earth. :pinkiecrazy:

5391608
There have been a couple Trump supporters who committed crimes and even murder alongside the rioters, but I don't know if they were disguised as BLM supporters, but probably not.

Fuck trump all the way his does not care about us at all and I,m fed up with this crap in my country I,m in the USA and I voted joe sue me

If Trump gets kicked out of office today (symbolically, the actual kick out of his office in January will be even more delicious :rainbowwild:), then I'll go and eat something really good to celebrate. If Trump wins the election..... then I'll still go and eat something really good just to spite him. If Trump wins again, I'll go and eat chinese, we all know how much he loves those fellows.
My happy and cheerful mind will never be taken down by the trials and tribulations of this strange world I was put into 34 years ago.

Kinda curious, what made you change your mind about Trump? Like, specifically?

It started with him violating his "drain the swamp" promise and loaded his administration with the most corrupt corporate people imaginable. Then it was his "tax cut" bill that effectively raised taxes on everyone but the 1% by the year 2021. Then it was just the repeated racist, sexist bullshit he spouted that made me realize that no, he actually is racist and it wasn't just his words being 'taken out of context" or some shit. On top of that, just all the constant lies he would tell, and the way he held the DACA act hostage for his own pet policy ideas that would further screw this country.

Then... COVID19 happened. That was it. I realized right then that he had to GO, and go NOW.

I don't know how Cuban voters were convinced to vote Trump, Biden is obviously not a socialist in any way.

Fearmongering works. The USA government have successfully gaslit their own citizens into voting against their own reasonable self-interests in the name of "freedom" and the so-called American Dream.

Fortunately, Georgia might go to Biden, now, and Arizona is almost won along with Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Add in PA looking good for the mail-in vote remaining, and it's looking like Biden will likely win after all!

5391939
You do you, man. I'm glad you can keep your head up during all of this. At least it looks like Biden has a very good chance of winning, now!

5392188

That's good news. I hope the voters finally do something right. This man is dangerous and needs to be removed.

5392133
Yup, he didn't drain the swamp, he just replaced it with his friends and cronies. I'm not sure why people thought Hillary was so obviously corrupt when Trump is like this.

Then there's Covid-19. It deeply disgusts me how he's mishandled this crisis, and I have trouble letting it slide when people actually defend his response. As if his early travel bans and his initial support for what science and experts recommended make up for his completely inept handling of the crisis later on! I even see people defending his comments about injecting disinfectant, it's incredible the different ways they've maneuvered themselves into thinking it was anything but pure stupidity.

Fearmongering works. The USA government have successfully gaslit their own citizens into voting against their own reasonable self-interests in the name of "freedom" and the so-called American Dream.

It's Joe Biden though, practically the definition of a middle-of-the-road democrat. He ran against a self-proclaimed socialist and has stated so many times. Apparently the morons in Miami think a public option on the Affordable Care Act is "socialism" somehow. It's pathetic to think that the GOP can scream about "socialism" and these people actually fall for it. They didn't fall for it in 2012 or 2016, so why now? It's so dumb that his team should have made an effort to clarify this to these people who act like the Cold War is still raging.

Fortunately, Georgia might go to Biden, now, and Arizona is almost won along with Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Add in PA looking good for the mail-in vote remaining, and it's looking like Biden will likely win after all!

We'll see, Biden has a ways to go, Trump could very well still win. PA is still competitive, but Trump has a 3-point lead, which is a hell of an obstacle to overcome. I'm surprised it's this close given it's Biden's home state. Though If Georgia actually goes blue, I will be absolutely floored. Inb4 Trump does something to prevent them from counting all their ballots. :pinkiesick:

What's really worrying me though is Nevada. It's not looking good for Biden, there's a lot left to be counted and Hillary won that state by 2.5 points! If he loses Nevada, Trump's chances go up considerably. Let's not forget that AZ isn't out of the game quite yet either. Why are they so slow??

Dear Lord, I really hope Nevada isn't going red... the other southwestern states have trending blue for a while now so that would seriously be out of place and hurt a lot. New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and even Texas have been turning more and more blue, so this would stand out. Only Utah remains firmly Republican.
