Bezier walked through the hive hallways, looking for a good place to test out her new weapon, an assault rifle given to her by her fellow changeling, Hero. She thanked him greatly for the gift, but wasn’t so sure about the bright colors it had, specifically the hot pinks and bright yellows, with some green and blue thrown in the mix. Nonetheless, she appreciated the time and effort put into it, and she hoped that others would too...
However...
Bezier froze in place when she heard a familiar series of snickers, and she turned to see Snapdragon and her clique laughing and jeering at her weapon.
Great. She furrowed her brow and turned to them. “What do you guys want now?”
“Hahaha! Nice gun, Bezzy!” Snapdragon said with a sneer. “Did you get it for Easter?” she asked, eliciting a new level of laughter from her friends.
“Come on, guys! This is—”
“I recognize those colors! Pretty sure I saw that thing in the toy store for only $0.50!” One of the mocking changelings said through her laughter.
Bezier gritted her teeth; the audible clicking of her rifle bringing the laughter to an end as the other changelings’ eyes widened.
“Girls, you have five seconds to run.”
And so they did, while screaming all the way and with a young changeling proudly chasing after them with her rifle.
