My Movie Review of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (Reconstructed & Re-Analyzed)

This is a completely modified version of my review on “Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island”. Along with presenting a greater sense of reconstruction to correct grammatical errors and all that sort of thing, this also presents a combination of my thoughts on the film both when I initially reviewed and re-analyzed it later the same year.

My Second List of Least Favorite Villains

Following my previous post, I was immediately inspired to go ahead and showcase another ten of my least favorite villains. The biggest reason for why is because I enjoyed creating the last one so much that I couldn’t resist doing it again, and it felt good to get it out of my system as well.

My Episode Review on The Three Stooges: Men in Black · 1:36am Jan 22nd, 2021

Yo, what's up, Kemosabes?

This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.

Today, for the first episode analysis of 2021, I'm gonna give you guys my take of the Three Stooges's "Men in Black".

Here's the rundown of it:

After graduating from medical class, mainly because they've been in the senior class for too many years, the Three Stooges become doctors at the Los Arms Hospital and go around treating a variety of patients using methods that are entirely unorthodox.

I have to be honest, every time I thought about what Three Stooges short I wanted to review next this one came to my mind the most. Even whenever I decided to review other shorts first, I found myself wanting to make an analysis of it so badly.

After finally watching this short recently, I'm proud to say that "Men in Black" is easily one of the Three Stooges's very best of works.

For instance, the direction by Raymond McCarey, and the story by Felix Adler, were outstanding!

If the mission was to go all-out in making this short as funny as possible, even in an off-the-wall kind of way, the the filmmakers did a great job at doing just that. Every gag and comedic moment throughout the short was executed with fantastic flavor and fluency, and none of them felt out of place at all. Prime examples come from the moments where the Stooges run into a closet before coming out riding a mode of transportation in the hallway, because although those gags were rather random, they didn't feel out of place and were fun to watch.

The acting and characters were awesome to watch as well.

I literally can't deny it, the Stooge trio themselves were hysterical! Every scene they were featured in was entertaining to a tee, and the fact that they appeared to be so into what they were doing made their screen presence all-the-more enjoyable. In addition to this, the Three Stooges had surprisingly dynamic development as characters. The supporting cast members were likewise entertaining, especially Dell Henderson as Dr. Graves and Billy Gilbert as the Dangerous Patient.

In conclusion, "Men in Black" is a Three Stooges short that's an absolute blast to watch. I can definitely see why it was nominated an Academy Award for "Best Short Subject-Comedy", that's for sure.

So, I rate "Men in Black" five out of five stars.

It was this episode that created the infamous catchphrase "Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr Howard!"
