The Storm King hands down. I’ve loved the character even if he didn’t get much time on the screen, and I’d totally be in for him making more appearances.

I wished Nightmare Moon gotten more screentime(I mean the REAL one, not a alternate timeline/dimension/dream version).
She has alot of potential with being Luna' inner darkness and such.
The show could have touched on Luna's dark powers there instead of having her lose them because "darkness is always evil" issue.

But she’s gotten a lot more appearances in the show even if it wasn’t the real her. That’s how much an impact she made on the story.

Sadly it just doesn't feel right if they have to rely on a alternate timeline/universe/fake to use Nightmare Moon.
I really prefer they touch on Nightmare Moon with the REAL one. Any development seen from the fake copy/alternate timeline/universe just feels like its not enough/good as seeing it happen with the real one.
Afterall, Luna was just forcibly purified instead of the issues that led NMM to happen being resolved properly.
If something like Grogar ends up undoing that, maybe Luna has to deal with her darker self kicking in at any moment to cause trouble.

I see where you’re coming from. The writers probably had other plans for new villains for the show and had to do away with her to progress the story I suppose.

Problem is they wasted her pretty badly(and relying on alternate versions isn't the way to go).
Hell, they could have done something with NMM in the series finale due to her being the first villain of the show.
Making things come full circle pretty much.

Heck, I remember Faust wanted season 1 to focus on Nightmare Moon being fought for the whole season rather than just be premiere.

Along with Zecora being a mentor Twilight gets and such.
