After the portals opened Earth, Danger was left with a quadrillion new possibilities. Even though he was in s different universe... and partaking Indycars. So he took a balanced approach. But when it came to the Equestrian Indy 500, the fourth round of the season, Danger scored three podiums (2 seconds and a third.)
The Obelisk team knew that 1996 was the year they can forget about the previous. So when it came to qualifying, Danger shocked everyone as he qualified 2nd on the grid out of 42 cars. Nobody treated Danger as a rookie, he was treated as a professional (even though it was first season). Danger knew that whatever the race may throwed, he would be ready. When it came to the start, Danger completely ballsed up the start. dropping to 5th. On Lap 27, two more cars passed which wasn't in the script. But if he dropped further, he would have been in the flight path of Crysella Dragonsfire Airlines as she crashed on Lap 37 after the car had a case of what an Italian would call 'mancanza de vita' or 'absence of being alive'. This in turn bring back to 4th after Aurelia Brightspark overtook the pace car before the restart, Danger saw this to his advantage as after the pace car pulled in, Danger got back to 2nd, but would be made the leader as Aurelia was DQ'ed after refusing a stop-go penalty because of pace car shenaniganry.
Danger led comfortably and didn't lose any time when he came for his pit-stop as about 40% of the field were lapped.
On lap 129, Danger was nearly a lap ahead of everyone when his car briefly stalled, Danger managed to somehow get the car going but dropped to 2nd.
However on lap 198, Danger was in a tight battle with Ganymede Speedstar and at the final lap, Danger passed in on turn 4 to win the race.
Danger was literally broke in tears of celebration as he was the first driver from the same family as his predecessor to win the Equestrian Indy 500.
From 1996 to 2002, Danger would score 31 more victories and 50 podiums in the IndyCar series.
Danger then went on compete in FIA Equestrian GT Championship for BMS Scuderia Equestria, with his team scoring wins in Estoril, Oscheresleben and Magny-Cours and a second place in Spa 24 Hours.
From 2003 to 2008 he would score victories in Monza, Adria, Zhuhai, Nogaro and Brno.
And then, this happened:
Danger was in a stock-car race at Appleopolis Mile where he was second when slightly nudged future nemesis Oscura Galaxia.
Danger took the victory and said he didn't mean to nudge Oscura into the wall, but secretly he did.
In 2009, he got a call from McLaren saying that want to have a different to participate in the Formula Equestria championship, and Danger obliged for a 12-month deal. During his time with McLaren, he would score 4 victories and 9 podiums and all is races were finishes and he finished 4th in the standings
In 2010 however, Dean jumped ship to Ferrari and was delighted to race an historic racing team and signed a 5 year contract while Oscura signed with Red Bull and Danger was with Rainbow Dash. From 2010 to 2013 he would score 12 podiums and 6 wins with most of the races either being won by his teammate, Rainbow. Or his nemesis, Oscura. With Rainbow claiming the 2010, 2011 and 2012 championship and Oscura in 2013. Then, 2014 came and Danger scored 10 victories and 2 podiums with the 10th came when on the last lap at Diamond Bay, Oscura hit Danger (or did Danger hit her, anyway) Danger won 2014 championship with Oscura being DQ'ed from the standings after the incident with Danger.
Danger was rewarded Equestrian Sporting Hero 2014, he was also made a commander of Equestrian Empire and as bigger prize New Equestria City was renamed to Danger City and after winning the Formula DangerVerse Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was made a knight by Princess Celestia. So Danger was now called Sir Danger Dean, CEE and motorsport legend.
