Geodes Reveal and Why Haywire Exists · 4:00pm Jul 5th, 2021
In Haywire, Chapter 1 Starlight and Twilight head deeper into the castle after a third of a dark, evil Shadow spirit. Twilight and Starlight head nowhere else but Canterlot High, after the Shadow who dives through the mirror portal to this other world. I have lots of plans for both episodic releases of both the Haywire series and Geodes(the EQG equivalent) as I wanted three things: An introduction of my own characters, an epilogue for the Mane 6 given their lives after the Coronation weren't shown except for many years later, and lastly a more fitting ending to the Equestria Girls story.
As for when Geodes will first release, it's unsure. I've got the rough story plans plotted out now, but I haven't put any of the writing into production yet. When the mid-arc hiatus for Haywire hits, that's when I'll try and get a lot of progress done for that. And for Geodes, big things are planned. It's gonna take the world you know of EQG, but finally answer some long lasting questions. You've probably got some in your head, and odds are they're gonna get answered at some point during the Geodes lifetime. I've always loved MLP, and I'm happy with how it ended, but I wanted to give the Mane 6 more closure and adjust to their new lives(and now obviously alongside the growing lives of my own 'Mane 6' of sorts). Haywire is the birth of that, and now I get to do the same for EQG and give the Rainbooms some closure, but obviously after a whole new story and chapter of their lives begins, of course.
And now... The Story Synopsis of Geodes: Volume 1
In the premiere chapter of Haywire, Starlight tears the remaining darkness out of Onyx. However, when it finds itself vulnerable, it splits apart and heads in three different directions. While everypony else handles two of them, Starlight and Twilight chase the third deeper into Ponyville Castle, watching in horror as it heads nowhere else but into the Mirror Portal. Join our Pony gals as they head back to the other world, reuniting with their now self-sufficient Sunset Shimmer and the rest of the Rainbooms. Twilight and Starlight catch them at an odd time though... They're not only in their last semester at Canterlot High, but now they find themselves at odds with another group of friends. These kids, the first to have been tormented by Sunset Shimmer when she first became a bully, still dislike Sunset and distrust her greatly. Can Starlight and Twilight find the shadow before it's too late?
