I had this idea with the 2024 Hypercar line up for Le Mans so I thought I do a race with this inspiration

The Backstory of Nemesis Grand Prix · 3:28am Jul 23rd, 2021

Here's another backstory, this time however it's on a team which was a complete disaster. Like Andrea Moda for that matter. But Nemesis had currently 7 seasons.

Nemesis Grand Prix was formed as a idea from Red Bull's Oscura Galaxia and personally suggested that one of the Alliance of Extreme Darkness commanders: Labys Archfire to be their team principal, Lolestra Maldicta and Sophia Galaxia were made drivers for their first season. The NGP14 wasn't the best but it was what they had to offer.

When they turned up for the first round at the DangerDrive Motorsport Park, they got trounced in qualifying being 10 seconds slower than Danger's Ferrari. In the race however, Lolestra's KERS decided to fail itself on lap 42 while Sophia finished, 3 laps down, in 29th.

Nemesis thought this to be a learning curve despite 54 drivers racing in the championship.

From the Athenadrome GP to the Austrian GP, Nemesis would trend from qualifying at the tail end of field nearly to finish in either the bottom 20s or the top 30s.

They noticed before the British Grand Prix that Sophia wasn't performing in the races, so they dumped her and signed Inferno Temepest for the reminder of the season. She had no success whatsoever either.

Fastforward to 2018 and Nemesis were in deep trouble, the team had no gotten a single good for 3 years and being an obstacle for Oscura, Danger and Rainbow. But before the team could do anything, both Inferno Temepest and Estrella Dragonheart (who joined in 2016 after Lolestra decided to test drive for Renault) were dropped out of seat for a year. They needed two more drivers.

But salvation would come when Goldlight Dreamsearcher and 2009 championship winner Rusalka Swordlight signed a one year deal. Unlike the other drivers, Goldlight included, Rusalka loved motor racing. In fact, she even competed in the Equestria 500 in 2013 where she finished 2nd. And she raced in the Equestrian Le Mans 24 Hours several times, winning her LMP2 class in 2017. Before the season began, Rusalka created her own Nemesis car when she heard that would be making a start for Nemesis, she designed and built her car from scratch and built her own power unit. When the DangerDrive GP started, Rusalka's power unit worked in harmony and was considered to be on par with the Ferraris and the Red Bulls. This was proved when, to the shock of everyone, Rusalka qualified in 4th and lead the race mostly before getting overtaken by her former teammate, DangerDean on lap 61. From the DazzlePark to the Yas Marina GP, Rusalka managed to get in 6th in the championship with most of her races points finishes from 2nd to 6th, and a commanding victory at Jerez while Goldlight languished down in 30th place. After the race which Rusalka finished in 4th place and the title was won by Danger, Rusalka was offered a test driver role with Ferrari which she accepted.

Then from 2019 to 2020, it was the same lackluster performances.
