Long Live Olenia · 6:41pm Sep 26th, 2021

Queen Velvet lowered her weapons as she gazed upon the battlefield that had decided the fate of not just her nation, but all nations around Equus. The bodies of the Princess Celestia, Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle, King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis and Ember The Dragon Lord lay before her in pools of their own blood. Blood that decorated her twin swords. She looked upward to see her armies and their mighty war machines destroying the last remnants of the old powers that had once ruled this world, but now it was the time of a new era.

No longer would Deerkind be seen as the second rate nation that was always at risk of being enslaved by changelings, influenced by ponies, or raided by dragons. Olenia would become the new dominant power of the Western Continent, one that not even the broken Eastern Continent's griffin kingdoms, republics, and socialist nations would be able to stand up to. She sighed as he looked down at the bodies of those she once admired such as Twilight Sparkle. She had been there to help her when Johan, her cursed half brother, overthrew her and helped Velvet retake her throne. However, Johan's final words before his execution echoed in her mind now as she stood alone as the sole survivor of this seven way duel:

"You think the ponies will see you as equals, Sister? When the time comes, and they see you growing beyond their control, they will turn on you and you will be forced to fight them."

She wondered if Johan was laughing in Hell right now at the irony. Yet, she pushed such thoughts aside. Equestria, for all its talk of Harmony, wanted to be the ones who issues what Harmony was and would be by their rules. And when Olenia was growing stronger with Velvet's reforms, that was a risk they couldn't take. Still, Velvet would see to it that the princesses, even Nightmare, were given a proper funeral back in Canterlot when she marched there. Ember's body would be returned to the Dragon Lands, who would swear alligance to her now that she proved herself stronger. Chystalis's death would anger her side of the hive, but her alliance with Thorax's kingdom would see to them submitting. Especially if she decided go through with his marriage proposal to end their races hostility once and for all. As for Sombra? He could lie there as food for the crows. The Crystal Empire will see her as a hero for liberating them, something Equestria failed to do.

As she watched the sun begin to set, Queen Velvet realized that this was the end of an old era, and the beginning of a new one. One in which Deerkind would lead all the other races to a new age. An age that would be free from the mistakes of the past and one where all races would prosper together. As her soldiers cheered in victory, she saw the flag of her nation fly with pride as she heard them scream with joy:

"Long Live Olenia!"

Special thanks to "PSFmer" for doing this. I personally don't play Equestria at War, but I am helping some mods by writing for the nation of Olenia. I happen to have grown to like the deers as I write more for them.

Cool, now I want her to live long enough to regret it.

Yikes. Just… yikes.

Well written little piece of literary. Now kinda interested to see potential flashbacks to when ponies tried to interfere with her reforms.

If people want to use this as means to create a story they are more then happy to do so

Thems Fighting Herds

EAW player here. Never knew you wrote Olenia for the devs. May I know which parts you wrote? The focus tree or the events?

No, I'm not a writer for the original. I'm writing for two other mods based on the original EAW

And... then the sun and moon never moved again and the world froze and burnt.
