Hello there!

So, let's cut to the chase, because I'll make this short, and I'm not one for needless fluff.

Anyways, first off - Spectrum. Sorry for the delays, and the radio silence. Rest assured, the next chapter is still being written, though a combination of factors such as the stress over the past year + rewrites (ugh) + probable burnout has taken its toll. I'll manage, but apologies for the massive gap between the chapters. Current target is, let's see, December 21st. Luna's birthday. Here's hoping I can actually hit that deadline. If not, well, apologies for the delay.

Secondly, plans! God, I've got plans. There's that Izzy story I've been pondering, plus the Sunset-Cadance story in the planning stages (check out TCC56's First Hoof Account, by the way. These two are a fun pair!). And, yeah, it's a long time coming seeing how quite a fair few amount of people have told me they really liked The Rose of Florentina's Sunset cameo so... keep an eye out :raritywink:

Thirdly, as my friend chris the cynic can attest, I went ahead and re-read the OG Other Side of the Spectrum this past year (which I will not link here and, all honesty, if it weren't for the value in keeping it archived for the public I would have hidden it) and-

“It… just wouldn’t have been ‘real’,” Celestia said, affecting a haughty tone, and Luna sighed. Of course Celestia craved true love, why else would she have disbanded said harem when lust and sexuality alone were not enough to sustain her. But stars above, much as Celestia desired and deserved something more than just the maternal love she gave and received with their subjects, the silly mare couldn’t bring herself to actually ‘get out there’ and commit to a mate. No doubt she’d had her fair share of one-night-stands and affectionate flings over the eons (at least, Luna hoped so, lest she have to contemplate the horror of Celestia remaining celibate for over a millennium - reduced to either a neurotic asexual or a tightly-wound bundle of repressed lust), but the Solar Princess had never taken the bold step of marriage or parenthood.

Anyways, just to straight up make it clear, Celestia is indeed asexual in the present-day Spectrum story, because asexuality is valid, y'all, and being single is also valid, ahem.

Here's hoping I can actually meet the 21st of December deadline. Cheers!
