I was thinking of adding a blog section to my profile page, and it occurred to me that it would be helpful if I put something in my blog first. So... here we are. I won't use this regularly--heck, I don't update my ordinary blog regularly--but when I have info to share or things to point out about my stories, I'll talk about them here. For now, I'll just use this first post to touch on a few random topics. Sorry if you get a notification for this, because it's really not very interesting.
* Thank you so much for all the favorites, ratings, and comments on Greenfire and The Words Won't Come! I rarely have the time to respond to comments individually, but rest assured that I read them all, and I consider every piece of criticism or praise I get. (The italics-overuse is something I'm working on weaning myself away from, haha.) It also thrills me that people are interested enough in Greenfire to speculate on what's going to be revealed in the future! It's going to be a while before we start getting to those reveals, but I don't plan to leave any of the big questions unanswered by the end.
* Chapter 4 of Greenfire is coming slowly; I haven't fully nailed down my plan for it yet. I'm also working on the first story in a Spike-centric series I've been planning for ages, as well as a handful of one-shots. I can't give much of an estimate on when anything will be complete, unfortunately. On top of my naturally slow writing, I've got a lot of stress to deal with in RL right now. "It'll be done when it's done" is the best I can do. |D;;
* If you're interested in my non-pony fanfiction, I've got all the works that have stood the test of time on my account at Archive of Our Own. I have older stuff on FFN, but I'm not going to link that account; those stories aren't the ones I'm proud of. You can search it out if you really want to, though.
* On a less-fanfic-related note, I need friends! ...Let me rephrase that. I need Gameloft Live friends who are playing the My Little Pony game! Gotta collect a lot more hearts if I'm ever going to bring Scootaloo back. My Gameloft account is ShayCaron (big surprise, I know), so feel free to send me a friend request!
