It feels fitting to signal-boost a contest or two as we approach the weekend. Details past the Read More.
First off is Bicyclette's A Thousand Words contest, where the prompt is exactly that: Write a story of exactly 1,000 words according to Fimfic's admittedly finicky word counter. No more, no less. (It had better not be any less or you can't publish it on its own!)
Secondly, a reminder that Estee's Who Crossed Over My Little Pony? is still open, though not for much longer. You have two weekends left there if your time is at a premium (or if it isn't; such is the tyranny of the calendar.)
