Hey everycreature, just to let you know why the new chapter of Spinel isn't out yet. So the chapter is about Sombra's life up until now basically, a bit of homeworld a lot of Equis etc. Initially I though I'd do one chapter about my average length starting that story and finish it in another chapter but as I wrote I realized that wouldn't make for a good stopping point so to sum all this up, you're getting a chapter longer then usual, but not sure when it will come out.
Curious on how the length might be? :0

Honestly tough to say, everytime I think I'm gonna write a quick scene I end up having it go on for even longer (basically when I write I think of a general situation then I put myself in the head space of the characters to figure out what they'd say and do in the situation, ironically it's what Rebecca Sugar said they did in the writing room for Steven Universe to make everything feel natural and organic, but the issue with that is it's hard to judge the length of a scene until you get into it as the characters could end up saying or doing something completely different then what you thought when you started writing) All I can say for now is it's over double the length of the average chapter and gonna get longer
