With great timing on Hasbro's part, we've got Sparky's, Opaline's, and Misty's TYT debut as Hitch gets another crash course in dragon parenting.
Good episode overall, with poor Misty providing most of the comic relief.
And Izzy needs to be distracted by jiggling keys.
Taking care of a kid is not always easy
Izzy: can I keep the keys
Yeah sure why not
Izzy: yay
Is it just me, or did Sparky sound a little off here? Like Elmo, or a gremlin, or something.
Wait, Izzy, stop! Those keys are not for unicycling!
And the writers and Hasbro have heard our concerns about the Posey abuse, and they've decided to do something about it.
"That's good."
They're going to do it all to Misty instead.
"WHAT?!"

To be honest I kind of expected that going to happen it is tell your tail
Totally different note: please don’t tell me I’m not the only one that thinks swapping ‘hoofness’ in for ‘goodness’ is COMPLETELY unnecessary…

It isn't. Off the heels of a generation that was perfectly fine with "For Celestia's sake" and "Oh my gosh!" (and I think the odd "For pony's sake" from Twilight, maybe even a "What in tarnation?" from Applejack), it really isn't. Hell, they even had a gag in one episode about "peeved" being foul language.

That's why I cracked up when Opaline told Misty "hooftastic isn't a word and I refuse to acknowledge it."
That was the highlight for the episode for me.
I actually noticed that in this episode, you can actually see Opaline’s cutie mark (if you look closely), which is two flames in between a horn. I bring this up because I don’t think we got to see it in Make Your Mark.

Yeah. I noticed that too. Of course, it's possible that Misty purchased a very realistic fake cutie mark sticker to blend in better.
Of course, it's also possible (in fact more probable) that it was simply a snafu on the artists' part.
Of course, it is ALSO possible that could be foreshadowing for her REAL Cutie Mark later on.
And, of course, I'm probably overthinking it.
