"The Sky is Gone" has returned! And it has a new cover art now! It took shooting 246 individual photos at several dark and sinister sites of old, in the dead of night, to find the one that depicts Silverstream's lost and broken phone in the most ideal way. The ones who opened this blog entry were lucky and could already see it as a teaser 40 hours early and now, the cover art is live!

This was only the sixth time I tried myself at artistic photography, but the first time at creating a cover art for a story that is an actual photo and I'm very proud of the result. My camera fails at taking good night photos, but I managed to get a decent result on Saturday. This was also the first scary activity I did in this year's Dark Season, right on October 1st and earlier than ever before, and it was a fun and challenging trip that I'll always remember fondly.

And "remember" is a good keyword here. Go and make sure to remember Silverstream. Who knows how much time she has left in this dark and wicked, monstrous hellscape that her world has become..... Every moment could be the last and make it all end with a broken, shattered mobile phone on the dark and empty streets. Be there for her.

Stay not where it lurks, lock the door, turn off the light.
