Alright, this relates back to that one post I made about Mythology in My Little Pokemon. After a while, I thought about what it would look like and after talking with a friend, I've got something to share. I would've drawn something but I've yet to perfect mural/stain/glass and ancient art. Eventually, I'll just draw it in my usual style. But anyway.
Let's say in another nation or land away from Equestria or even thousands of years in the future, stories would be told and Ash would be known as a deity who controlled the skies themselves via Lightning when really, it would've been his Pikachu. They would mistake him for being a being who came from another world, carrying bolts of lightning while wearing a royal blue outfit. Since it's been so long in the future, their perception of Ash would be exaggerated and he would be the equivalent of Zeus.
Then for someone like say Twilight, her most notable Pokemon would change the perception of how she's viewed in mythology. If it were Absol, she'd be seen as a special pony who could control the darkness and the same could be said for Luna since Darkrai is her most notable Pokemon. They'd both be akin to someone like Erebus. If it were Espeon, it could go either way since she's known as the Sun Pokemon and is a Psychic-Type.
For the evil figures, they might exaggerate that too. Ghetsis would be known as an evil deity who could turn into a Three-Headed Dragon, AKA his Hydreigon. And the stories would be made into epic tales even though they were already epic but with some fiction in them. The invasion would be made into a myth with these figures and so on. You get the point. It's a fun idea that I never stopped thinking about and each action in this story could be framed as a myth in the future.
And with how much I enjoy it, I plan to adapt it in this story one way or the other. Not necessarily in G5 since Pokemon would be around by then. But I'd also like to hear what you think about the others. What would someone like Rarity be framed as in the future? There are a lot of possibilities when you add myth into. Anyway, thanks for reading this post. Longest one so far.
