Rainbow Dash finds... something on her early morning flight over the Everfree Forest. She's not exactly sure what this something is, but she sure will make sure to not only keep him safe, but also away from anypony! She doesn't need the whole town freaking out about him!

After all, who would believe her story that a deformed ghost was wanting to burn down the whole Everfree Forest as retribution?

Rainbow Dash returns to aerial racing. As the dream dissolves, a stumbling prospect catches her eye – a pony that no other would touch with a bargepole.

Note on 'Sloppy Truth'

Rainbow Dash has been frequently drinking at odd hours in the night. She also opts in flying home, which isn’t the best idea considering how uncoordinated Pegasi can be while intoxicated. Soarin tries to coax her into getting flown home, but she seems to enjoy her destructive flying.

Rainbow Dash waits for Soarin to fall asleep, and she quickly carries out her nightly routine so as not to be caught. The only problem? She wasn’t quiet enough. However, it may have been the best thing that’s ever happened to her.

At the Daring Do convention, Rainbow Dash makes a new friend named Quibble Pants. Both eager to meet a fellow die-hard, they spend the day doing various activities together, looking at and buying merchandise, and geeking out over their favorite heroine.

However, a playful jump in the rock pit leads them on an unexpected detour.

Ponyville's pegasi prepare for a large storm to mitigate the temperatures of a passing heat wave. However, misplaced clouds from a clumsy pegasus cause strong winds that push Rainbow Dash's house all the way into the Everfree Forest, where it is completely destroyed. Now homeless, Rainbow choses to move in with Applejack, who will need the company since Granny Smith is on her last legs.

Set about fifteen years before "The Last Problem"

I purposefully left the husband nameless and descriptionless so the reader can imagine him as whatever pony or OC they want.

MLP Forums NaPoWriMo submission for Booker. The story I originally wanted to submit for this was way too long (It's finished now. Read it here). This story is kind of a precursor to that one, but this one can still be read on its own without missing out on anything.

That'd be all fine and dandy for Rainbow Dash, but Soarin' isn't making things any better for himself when he keeps uttering the same word that annoys Rainbow to no end.

Author's Notes: Ok, firstly I LOVE the Doctor Whooves and Assistant and Doctor Whooves Adventures equally, but this is discontinuous with both of them.
