Twilight takes the Young Six to Griffonstone to learn more about griffon history, and to learn about teamwork. Hoping to rescue the books from the ruined library, it takes them all by surprise when they learn a few things while skimming through the books.

What do you mean dragons lived to the east? The dragons live in the Badlands! Everyone knows that.

Written for the The Discovery contest. Basically my attempt to help explain some of the little details in and around Griffonstone that I've noticed, while also trying to flesh out some history.

Also I created the evolutionary ancestor to parasprites.

Gallus really should have remembered that not only was he friends with a changeling, but said changeling can feel certain emotions.

Specifically: Love.

After the fiasco of last year’s Hearth Warming Tree, the Student Six are determined to have a multicultural Hearth’s Warming, where everycreature contributes a tradition of their own. For five of them, that’s no problem. For Gallus . . . complaining about the food and barely tolerating everyone’s company isn’t a very good tradition.

While visiting the hive, Ocellus' friends stumble across a particular book and Sandbar has to deal with the consequences.

After an earnest question from Sandbar results in a meltdown and tears, he's pointed away from Ocellus and towards the only Changeling who can advise him on how to make things right. It won’t be without meandering through a few different topics. Even well into his twilight years, Pharynx still enjoys playing with his food.

This is an entry in the Snippet Series, an anthology of old oneshots I (and my good buddy Str8aura) wrote based around interesting pics I found. New ones will be posted every Thursday for the foreseeable future.

Gallus wants to ask Silverstream to the Amity Ball their sophomore year without embarrassing the both of them to death. Silverstream wants that, too, but neither of them has any idea how to even talk about what they want without causing the aforementioned death by embarrassment.

Fortunately, the Spirit of the Tree of Harmony wants to help. Though "fortunately" might be the wrong word...

Hearth's Warming is never an easy time for Gallus, being the only one without a real family to go home to.
