This story is a sequel to Live By The Sword...

For the residents of Canterlot, January 15 marks the beginning of a week of celebration. On this day, 237 years ago, the United Provinces declared itself independent from the Trottingham Empire. On this day, a nation devoted to the principles of liberty, equality, and tolerance was established.

The youth of Canterlot welcome their liberation... from the shackles of public education during Freedom Week. The week preceding it is a period of anticipation and excitement.

For Sunset Shimmer, however, the search for tolerance remains elusive. Two months after it was revealed that she had a girl sent to juvie, Sunset remains blacklisted from most of her peers, minus her friends and her boyfriend. With her second round of community service over, she finds herself in a new predicament: free time and no one to share it with.

Applejack, the ever-loyal friend, helps Sunset get a job at a sushi restaurant to pass the time. But in this job, she'll not only learn about responsibility and how hard it is to earn an honest buck, but other lessons from her co-workers: how even in a land of freedom, others must work twice as hard to have half the thing she has. She'll learn how even in a land of liberty, others must fight tooth and nail for even the most basic decency.

She'll be forced to discuss the age old question: what is freedom.

Working Girl Sunny is the third story of Sunset's Steps, the saga of Sunset's reform and growth into the brave hero we know and love. Reading the last two stories is helpful to understanding the background of this one.

Twilight had planned to visit Sunset Shimmer and her friends over in the other world for a nice, quiet weekend, away from all the worries and problems associated with being a Princess of Equestria. Unfortunately, things rarely go as planned.

After an accident cuts her off from Equestria, Twilight finds herself stuck in the human world until the gateway between the two worlds can be fixed. Which wouldn't normally be a problem...

A Twin Canterlots anthology—first in the Lectern’s Books series

It’s good to find new hang-outs and not see the same old places constantly. Sci-Twi suggests Lectern’s New and Used Books—a pretty nice place with a pretty nice owner. It even has a front room and a back patio set up to hang out in.

However, when Twilight offers to make their costumes look more realistic, they get more than they bargain for when they actually transform into their costumes! Now, Sunset is the most brilliant unicorn wizard in existence, Rarity and Applejack have switched perspectives, Pinkie has become psychotic (in a bad way), Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are sporting fangs and fur, and Twilight must keep her alter-ego from reasserting itself! Can Sunset and Twilight reverse the spell before midnight when the spell becomes permanent and they all remain trapped in their altered forms forever?

Inspired by all of the Anon-a-Miss stories I've read thus far.

You had your heart set on spending Christmas with your family, but fate had other plans. You heard about the MyStable user named, "Anon-a-Miss" and how she posts everybody's secrets online, not to mention that everyone believes that it's Sunset Shimmer who's behind it all. You felt compelled to believe the rumors, but after all that's happened at CHS, you find it hard to even think that Sunset Shimmer could be the culprit.

You decide to find her and see if she needs cheering up this holiday season, and with the help of your family and a little luck, you might be able to, not only save Sunset from a life of loneliness, but find something more within the two of you.

Anon-a-miss, the mysterious gossiper, plagues CHS. Caught as the perfect scapegoat, Sunset finds herself more shunned than ever before. While determined to clear her name, Sunset decides that first she needs a break. From everything. Back in the place she used to call home.

But as soon as Sunset leaves, her friends at CHS realize the depth of their mistake. Not just in accusing Sunset, but also in forgetting Sunset is not like any other human. As they try with all their might to earn back their friend's trust, they quickly come to learn that they know very little about Sunset and the world she hails from.

And worse for the girls, as Sunset begins to pick up the shards of her old life in Equestria, she begins to wonder whether she really wants to stay at CHS at all.

Anon-A-Miss. They happened, people were hurt, the mess was cleaned up, people are begrudgingly forgiving the trio responsible, if only for Sunset, and everyone in the school is starting to become friends again. The problem was solved, right?

Not if you ask Rainbow Dash. She's still pretty mad at herself about it, after getting all the details shown to her. So are her friends, just slightly less so than her.

Yes, this is another Anon-A-Miss story, but at least it doesn't happen during the fiasco like nearly every other one I've read. I was considering a way I could write a story about the entire thing that wasn't done to death. Then I realized there weren't many stories that followed this particular line of thought, so I went with it to see what would happen when it was filtered through my brain.

CHS has two new comers, and something tells Sunset Shimmer that these two boys might have a little something special about themselves.

One night when Sunset Shimmer is out holiday shopping, she ends up involved in a terrible accident. The next morning, Anon-a-Miss posts another embarrassing secret. The Rainbooms prepare to confront Sunset Shimmer about it when Principal Celestia calls an emergency assembly. Once they hear what happened to Sunset, all suspicion about her vanishes and they resolve to find the real culprit behind Anon-a-Miss to give Sunset Shimmer a Merry Christmas.

Afer being hit by the Elements of Harmony, Sunset Shimmer finally understood just how evil she had been, and wishes for nothing more than to make up for it, and seek out forgiveness as Twilight told her.

The next morning she wakes up a week before she went through the portal to steal the crown, 10 days before the Fall Formal, and decides to try and right some wrongs she has committed among CHS before she leaves for Equestria.
