Celestia had a niece once, not an adopted niece like Cadance, an actual biological niece, the daughter of Princess Luna. Sadly when Luna became Nightmare Moon her daughter took her mothers side and led the their forces against Celestia.

Princess Twilight was killed during that battle, or so history tells us...

Frightened and alone, only the arrival of a young mare with a mane and tail of rainbows can settle the filly. Scootaloo will soon discover that sometimes the pony who means the most to you as an aspiration, can also be the pony whom you take refuge with at the end of the day.

While visiting the Crystal Empire as part of a liaison unit from his hive, a young changeling excitedly tracks down the workshop of a local plush maker, eager to pick up his special order. When he discovers the shop maker is actually a changeling from another hive, his walk-in turns into an unexpected friendship, and a memorable experience.

It's a nice day in Ponyville. In the busy market, between two stalls, a changeling is sitting on the grass. Next to him is a sign that says "feed me".

Meant to be a nice little slice of bug horse life. A little cute, a little sad. Hopefully an enjoyable read, either way.

She's been training her whole life to become a Wonderbolt and finally, thank Celestia, she's a cadet at the Academy.
