.....unless there's a violet princess involved. Twilight's giving the yearly lecture about Ponyville's history, and everypony is basically required to attend. Every year the lecture is stupid and boring, and Rainbow Dash can't believe she has to waste an hour and a half of her life on this crap. But maybe this time it'll be different. Maybe this time it'll be cool, since Rainbow's awesome friend Twilight is in charge of it! Or maybe it'll be as boring as ever.

Hey guys, Derpy 2 here! So, I just wanted to say, this is a little story I'm writing to relieve stress and to get my "creative juices" flowing... So, basically, this fic isn't here for quality or enjoyment (I don't know what possessed me to post this in the first place...), but if you do enjoy it, awesome.

Rainbow Dash's dream has come true, and she's been accepted for training at Wonderbolt Academy. All she needs to do is fill out a few forms, get fitted for a uniform, and get vaccinated for Feather Flu.

That last one might be a bit of a problem.

Marston241 showed me the picture, and I pretty much had to write a fic based on it.

Rainbow Dash has developed a crush on Twilight. Now she just needs to find a way to express herself to her heart's desire, while fighting against her own past, meddling friends, and a pony who only recently learned what friendship was.

So it might be a bit harder than she thought.

Each chapter of this story is based off a song. This is not a "song fic", I'm basically just using the songs as a prompt for the story.

Princess Twilight Sparkle has been busy, what with dealing with supposedly reformed draconequui, restoring the ancient castle in the Everfree Forest, and making time helping the Cutie Mark Crusaders learn new skills. So when she finally gets a chance to relax, she decides to engage in her favorite pastime.

Which would be a lot easier if Rainbow Dash didn't keep showing up and sitting on her. Or near her. And now she's so busy trying to figure out what her friend is up to, that she's losing out on precious reading time!

Twilight has been gone at a secret princess meeting for days now, and Rainbow dash got word earlier of her arrival back in Ponyville. Excited to spend time with her relatively new marefriend, Rainbow Dash stays up late to meet her at the castle. However, when Twilight finally arrives, will Rainbow be able to keep her eyes open long enough to have a decent conversation? ...Probably not.

Warning: Twidash cuddles may induce heart implosions from pure cuteness.

Rumble left Ponyville when he was old enough to. First place he went: Cloudsdale, the place any right minded pegasus would go. Rumble was tired of the ground, and was ready for things to start looking up, so to speak. The past is in the past, and he only wants the future.

However, after a few months of living there, he finds something behind his apartment building that makes him think he didn't put quite enough distance between himself and Ponyville.
