Most mornings, it's hard to drag yourself out of bed and face the day. Especially when you were in the middle of a lovely dream, or in the company of a lovely stallion.

Gallus isn't the type to drag himself out of bed on a good day, usually hitting the snooze button to return to blissful sleep, but sometimes things just need to get done early in the morning.

Sandbar isn't one to let his little griffon escape so easily.

Only one will win out, but money tends to be on the huge earth pony.

In an effort to better understand the holiday, Ocellus asks if she can visit with Sandbar and his family for Hearth's Warming Eve. Sandbar is more than happy to welcome the changeling, as Hearth's Warming Eve is his family's favorite holiday of the entire year. What will Ocellus learn about the holiday from Sandbar and his family?

Sandbar and Yona have been dating for quite a while but the earth pony is struggling to find some things for them to do together. Then one day, Professor Pinkie says they'll be going to Yakyakistan to go on a hike for extra credit. Sandbar sees his chance and he goes along with Yona sign up for it. However, things won't be agreeing to the pony's plan.

Leaving Carousel Boutique the morning before he and Yona are set to debut their latest fashion line, Sandbar finds himself thinking about life, love, the future, and what his relationship with Yona might mean in a larger, universal sense.

Unfortunately, thinking's not the sort of thing that usually turns out well for him.

A few days ago, Sandbar and Gallus decided to try to get closer. Quite a bit closer. Yona and Silverstream found that adorable and decided to help them out in any way they can. The way they came up with was by going to the restaurant and spying on their first date.

What in the name of all probability could go wrong?!

He forgot that he doesn't have thumbs.

News of Princess Twilight Sparkle's School of Friendship spreads across Equestria, and many young ponies want to be students. However, the high demand means not every one of them can get in. In order to see who would be idol students who'd benefit the most from such a school, all applicants are required to write an essay about themselves and why they want to go.

This story follows one of those young ponies, Sandbar, as he figures out what to write about in his essay and maybe discover why he wants to enrol in the school in the first place.

Sandbar cares a great deal for Yona, but the thought of meeting her family has him understandably nervous. What if they didn't like him? Thankfully, that turns out to not be a problem, and instead, he has to worry about something else entirely.

Sandbar’s family makes a visit to the school of friendship to spend the day and check up on him. Which means one thing most importantly, Sandbar gets to introduce all his friends to his baby sister! All his friends are excited and eager to get to know the little pony, that is except for Gallus and Smolder. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on who is involved), a moment which involved a lost little filly and skipping class might change that.

Armed with the Crown of Grover and Clover the Clever's Cloak, Gallus and Sandbar fight giant spiders to save their friends from danger.
