Twilight has decided: she's the ruler of Equestria now, so she's done with sending those private letters to Princess Celestia. Just one small detail: she hasn't told Spike yet. Yeah, this'll end well...

(Takes place between The Ending of the End, and The Last Problem.)

By sheer chance, Hitch discovers that Sparky's egg came with a note. Upon reading it, he discovers a familiar name as the author of the note: Spike.

Once informed of this discovery, Sunny realizes that Spike must know what happened to Equestria that caused the pony tribes to become divided. She subsequently recruits all of her friends to join her on a journey to see the old dragon.

When the five mares finally do meet with Spike, they'll be surprised to learn his reason behind sending Sparky to Maretime Bay. And Spike will shed light on how the utopia Princess Twilight created came undone.

The six friends, and Spike, find themselves on the side of the road.

Ever since Moondancer could remember, there was at least one person she loved with a fiery passion. However, it wasn't a pony, but rather a dragon. This story follows a brief look on the first time she ever noticed Spike, how she managed to have feelings for him, and the inevitable fall out of her discovery of his crush to Rarity.

This Moondancer is different from the Moondancer seen in the show or the comics... Mainly because the inspiration, the cover you see before you, was made by samutoka prior to both those.

The Venom symbiote finds itself in Equestria where it meets Spike an orphan who is outcast by the world. Together they will make sure that the galaxy fear them and tremble at their,very existence.

Sometimes, bad things happen to good ponies. A year following a tragic incident, Twilight Sparkle returns to Ponyville to visit what she has been missing - her town, her memories, and most importantly, her friends. But will everything be as she remembers it?

This story has a sequel titled "In History, Maybe".

Due to Sombra’s surprising return, Twilight had to go to the Crystal Empire to fight him off. Which leaves Starlight and Spike alone in her castle. Spike begins to fear for Twilight’s safety, but Starlight’s there for him, and explains how he can always count on her.

Twilight takes Anon on a tour of Ponyville shortly after he arrives in Equestria. While showing him around, she forgets to mention other species. When she introduces him to her number one assistant, Anon naturally assumes Spike is a pony. A scaly, disfigured, diseased pony. Naturally.

Spike decides he wants some spending money, so he gets a job as an assistant to the local DJ, Vinyl Scratch.

What starts off as a part-time 'errand boy' job, quickly evolves into a close friendship, and may become something more in time. Apparently, they have more in common than they ever would have thought.

What Spike saw in the doorway of King Sombra's crystal palace hasn't left his mind. The fear of Twilight abandoning him haunts him through recurrent nightmares. Anxiety taunts him when he's at his most vulnerable, reminding him of all his failures, all his inadequacies, all his wounds.

One night, this fear and anxiety manifests itself in a full-blown nightmare, dragging Spike face-to-face with his greatest fear. What if Twilight never needed Spike in the first place?

Takes place right after the Season Three opener (before Episode Three).
