Every week, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy play a game. And every week it’s the same, predictable result.

Fluttershy doesn't seem to mind. But when she confesses that she doesn't really understand why winning is so important, Rainbow Dash’s world almost explodes. Now Dash is on a mission. Not only to explain to her friend why winning is so awesome, but to prove it too. Because by the end of the day, come hay or high water, Fluttershy is going to win something!

When Rainbow Dash asks Fluttershy to be her plus one for an upcoming party, Fluttershy seeks help from Discord. It works a little too well and ends up leading to Rainbow and Fluttershy to finally get together. This makes Discord decide to declare himself the new cupid by using the same technique on others!

Except that things don't always turn out the way you might expect them to.

Butterscotch and Rainbow Dash have been friends since they were kids. Ever since they met, he always had a crush on her.

And now on Valentine's Day, Butterscotch decides it is time to confess his feelings to his childhood friend, but how will Rainbow respond?

Fluttershy has been best friends with Rainbow Dash since Flight Camp. It's quite a strange friendship, as no two ponies could be more different. However, what began their friendship is one very, very big thing they have in common: they're both fillyfoolers.
Of course, they're not girlfriends or anything. After all, Rainbow Dash is too adventurous and AWESOME to be tied down or any other mushy gunk like that. I mean, sure they had a sort-of friends-with-benefits thing going on when they lived in Cloudsdale, but that was because they were sort of... well, lonely. By all means the cute, awesome Rainbow Dash should have had tons of friends, but Pegasi aren't terribly tolerant of fillyfoolers, so naturally Fluttershy and Gilda were her only friends, and she theirs. Where else were any of them supposed to get any flank, or for that matter any sort of affection at all?
Of course, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy stopped sleeping together when they moved to Ponyville to escape all that; nobody knows they're fillyfoolers and they have more friends here, so they're not soul-crushingly lonely anymore. However, Fluttershy continues to long for Rainbow, and not just for the occasional fun night; she's in love with Rainbow, and ever since they were fillies she's wanted to be her full-fledged girlfriend.
However, Fluttershy knows Rainbow isn't interested in anything like that and so hasn't told her the way she feels. However, Rainbow decides to come out to their other friends, and at that moment she's up for grabs; Fluttershy finds herself rivaling Scootaloo, Gilda, and Pinkie Pie for Rainbow's affections. Will Fluttershy find the courage to confess her feelings to Rainbow before it's too late?

At a Wonderbolt concert with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy sees a side of Rainbow Dash in which she's never seen before. Intrigued and slightly attracted by this new side of Dash, the young pegasus finds it hard to keep away from Rainbow. The news travels to Rainbow and a burning passion ignites between the two.

The crew of the Fancy Flute is back and in peril already. Captain Scratch, thought to be alright, is slowly dying. Of what? That is what Octavia wants to find out. Octavia has to find a way to save Vinyl and she has to find the Elements of Harmony. But how can she find them when the other three elements were out of sight and the three she already found are bickering and not trusting each other?

Meanwhile, Vinyl is traveling between life and death. She finds a place where everypony lives in harmony, rich and poor, riff raff with the nobles. Vinyl faces her past head on and meets the one pony she lost. Even if she was reunited with the ones that were dear to her in the past, Vinyl thought of something that made her heart flip. Can she ever face Octavia, again and tell her about her true feelings for her?

The story takes a darker turn as more mysteries are revealed and the past reveals itself. Is it possible that Octavia might find the answers to who is really the true leader of Canterlot’s corrupted government? Can she save the Elements from themselves? What truth is Rainbow Dash trying to hide from Octavia? So many new questions and yet so little time for answers; can Octavia find the answers she seeks? After a terrible Civil War that segregated the three pony races, the galaxy became a terrible place. Earth Ponies and Hybrids (mixed ponies) are seen as dung under the hooves of the aristocrats. But after thirty years of turmoil ponies wanted it all to stop. But no side dares to back down. One day a princess was born that rocked the entire planet of Canterlot and the surrounding Equestrian Galaxy: an earth pony hybrid princess.

Sixteen years after her birth, Princess Octavia was always protected by her unicorn parents but that changed during her sixteenth birthday when the ship her family was on was attacked by pirates. A young thief by the name of Vinyl Scratch rescues Octavia from the blades of her attackers. Who’d ever thought that this meeting will change their lives forever?

Vinyl had dreams of becoming a rich merchant as Octavia dreams of bringing her people back from segregation. But how can these two fulfill their dreams when evil pirates, assassins, and aristocrats try to stop them at every turn? Adventure and treasure meet their sights as these two mares meet a college professor and her assistant with a clue that will lead them to the greatest legendary treasure of all time. They must find the legendary Luna’s Treasured Moon where Luna’s treasure rests, and the rumored burial ground of the Princess Explorer. But the only key to get there is Octavia’s necklace, The Luna’s Tear.

(This is a crossover between Treasure Planet, Castle in the Sky, and Ponies. It’s not really a crossover but you’ll recognize themes from both of these movies in the story.)

When it comes to light that Rainbow Dash didn't properly pass her citizenship test to come to Ponyville, Pinkie Pie comes up with a crazy idea to keep her from being deported: get married! When Rainbow can't find a pony to go along with the idea, Fluttershy volunteers to help her friend. However, as the two start living their lives as wife and wife until Rainbow's citizenship is approved, they begin to realize that it's not just an act anymore.
