Since Discord's petrification, Celestia has noticed that Luna has been very sad lately. This worries Celestia. Why is Luna so sad? Does it have anything to do with the petrification of Discord? And if so, why?

After Discord is released from his stone prison by the Mane Six and the Elements of Harmony, and has been reformed by Fluttershy, he returns to Canterlot along with Celestia to see Luna after a thousand years as a statue. Discord realizes that although Luna is happy to see him again, she is sad about something she did in the past.

It is Griffinheim's darkest hour. The Lake City legions overran the city days ago, now one of them has decided to call himself the Kaiser of Griffons. No griffons stand against him, except one, Otto Van Beackmarck alongside the Griffinheim Liberation Army or GLA(Copyright Prywhen but honestly, who cares)

Sandbar can't resist the distraction of a soft tail swishing across his desk on a slow day in class. The harmless curiosity leads to a new complication in his relationship with Gallus.

Gallus has a bad day at school and it's all because on Friday the 13th, dark magic makes a comeback to Equestria. In order to combat this magic and to keep himself immune, he must complete a day's worth of kind deeds. Can he do them in time?

It’s been years since Gabby, an old-timer at the Griffon Kingdom Postal Service, was spry enough to fly a route to Equestria. That means it’s been years since she’s talked with her good friend Spike. A new invention may let her reconnect with Spike, but she learns that won’t be the only change it brings.

Sunset Shimmer has had a busy month.

From an admittedly stupid cyberbullying attempt that somehow worked to her friends equestrian counterparts coming over to kick their own butts. Even finding someone from the human world stranded in Equestria to Twilight's counterpart ripping several holes in reality and probably leaking magic like no tomorrow into her homeworld.

All within the span of four weeks!

That being said, she's ready for a break. So, after a moment of nostalgia and reflection alongside her friends, she decides that their idea for her to take a vacation back home for a spell might be a good idea. She could even check to see how her dad was doing! After all, she did vanish quite a few years ago, so he probably would like to know she was at least okay.

So why did she have this foreboding feeling about it all?

And this is where we diverge from the canon story of SunShim's adventures. Does this mean Camp Everfree is a no go? No, it still will be a thing for Sunbutt Jr. to face later. There's just going to be this story between then and the last story's events before it swings back into the right lane. (probably the only reason there's no AU tag on this yet.) It may be a good idea to read the prior stories first, but I will try my best to make it not required to understand all of this.

Down in Klugetown, they don't celebrate Hearth's Warming Eve like Equestria does. The residents of Klugetown don't do anything like the ponies do. And if you were someone who would call yourself a friend of ponies, you'd have a tough time making it in Klugetown, a place where a friend is a liability to one's health and fortune. Living in Klugetown required one to be smart, and it's not smart to have friends. Only stupid creatures have friends in Klugetown, which is when they start hoping they're lucky, because they have an uphill battle to stay afloat.

Whoever said it was better to be lucky than smart might have been on to something. Because a pony like her, you only meet that kind when you're lucky and stupid. And if you're smart, you'll realize it'll never happen and you should stop thinking about it.

But you didn't meet her and fall in love because you were smart.
