Discord has trapped Twilight in a vast, seemingly unending library. This library has a copy of every spell checked book that could possibly exist. Twilight's only way out of the library would be to find the book that explains how to escape. But when every single idea, story, possibility, and random book exists, how can she find the one book that can teach her how to leave this unfathomably large library?

This fanfic is a crossover based on the ideas presented in the short story, "The Library of Babel," by Jorge Luis Borges, and influenced by "A Short Stay in Hell" by Steven L. Peck.

The sequel to this story is also sequel to A Place for Pinkie.

When a ferocious blizzard brings winter to Ponyville, Rainbow Dash ends up stuck at Fluttershy's cottage for the night. Through some quality time together, though, and with the help of some insightful words, this unscheduled sleepover might just turn into the exact eye-opening experience that Rainbow Dash didn't know she needed.

Scootaloo has just finished her first flying lesson with her honorary sister, the fastest flyer and coolest pony in all of Equestria, Rainbow Dash. It was completely awesome, but she didn't really enjoy learning how to fly. Odd right? I mean, what pegasus wouldn't want to fly? Scootaloo can only think of one: Fluttershy. So, who else would she turn to when she needs a like-minded friend to share something with?

Fuzzy, blurry patches of color. That's all I can see. I wouldn't even call it "seeing". It's quite sad to be honest. Being pretty much blind makes me feel so helpless sometimes. My parents must've thought I was pretty helpless too for them to leave me. I think everyone thinks I'm helpless to some extent. I was so sheltered during my life at the orphanage. I admit, it was nice being taken care of and knowing that I was safe. But I wanted to be more than that filly who would just stay in her room all day, waiting for something interesting to happen in her life. I wanted to take action and prove I was anything but helpless. That lead me to do something no one saw coming...

As winter looms, Fluttershy dreads the lonely months ahead. Surprisingly, she finds comfort in a small filly that shares her loneliness.

The one, the holy, the incredible Fluttershy has descended down from her heavenly sanctuary and blessed us with the presence in my story. Bow to her, you fools, or a single look of hers will disintegrate your very souls. Eternal damnation is just a couple of false words away, be prepared. Don't fall for her trap, playing a simple, mortal pony, because she really is an eternal goddess that will punish you for your sins.

Fifteen years of solitude in Vanhoover penitentiary is a lot for one pony to handle, especially if that pony is Fluttershy. And with only one detective on the job, how is he supposed to explain why Fluttershy would allow that to happen to her?

After getting a mistaken invitation from Pinkie Pie for a Hearth’s Warming Eve Party, Rainbow Dash, now a Wonderbolt, accepts it. She goes back to Ponyville, intent on seeing her friends, and of course, to make amends with her ex-girlfriend, Fluttershy. Sometimes, things don’t quite go as planned.

Twilight tries to show her love for Fluttershy by showing how she can trust her to take care of her cottage while she's away.

First of all, this is my first attempt at a fan fiction so don't expect anything that great.

Also, this is pre- princess Twilight to avoid any confusion.
