(Story idea requested by superfun. Takes place before "The Ending of the End".)

In her spare time while preparing to take over the School of Friendship, Starlight Glimmer begins to get into spell experimentation again. And one day she calls Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy over to volunteer with a swapping spell.

When Starlight casts it, Pinkie and Fluttershy inadvertently end up having their personalities completely swapped! Starlight then frantically searches for a way to reverse the effects and return her friends to normal.

Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy decide that with their swapped personalities it'll be easier if they switch jobs and do each others' work: Pinkie at Sweet Feather Sanctuary and Fluttershy at Sugarcube Corner. Both will soon learn just how difficult the other's work really is, and may just develop a new appreciation for what the work involves.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin have known each other for a long time, have been dating for a while, and have recently announced their engagement. Today, they are spending time with their friends Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. Unfortunately for Rainbow, the moment is anything but romantic.

Dash and Pinkie lay together on a grassy field, watching the clouds peacefully drift by. And under the calm afternoon sun, Dash finds the courage to ask an important question.

Pinkie Pie had been spending so much time dedicating her time to make sure that other ponies would have fun, sometimes even she gets annoyed by laughter. Sometimes she just wants to spend her day as a normal pony being, and yet there is always going to be that mysterious laughter that keeps laughing at everything she says and does. Pinkie Pie decides that enough is enough, and she enlists a help from Twilight to solve her problem.

After Secrets and Pies, Pinkie has discovered that Rainbow Dash doesn't like pie. ANY kind of pie. With the exception of Pinkie Pie, of course.

As it turns out, Soarin had followed the whole fiasco and decing that he can't let this stand, he decides to weigh in on the matter.

Pinkie Pie was in the middle of making a batch of cupcakes, and she was just about to crack an egg when Mrs. Cake dropped not only a pie tin onto the floor but an F bomb as well. Pinkie Pie realized that there are a lot of ponies swearing out there and that it's her civic duty to stop them.

Shouldn’t have said she’d gotten bigger. Now she’s become obsessed with losing weight she’s convinced she’s gained. Good going Pinkie. Yeah you just sit and watch her burn those calories. Maybe Rainbow Dash could assist too.

Note: Currently, this story is planned to be rewritten someday. I'll be frank: This is pretty bad as it stands now, and I cringe when looking back on what I wrote, which is a good thing in terms of improvement, I guess. After a brief talk with Fluttershy and Applejack, Pinkie Pie suddenly comes to a startling conclusion! One of her friends is hiding something, and it's up to Pinkie to get her to admit it!

Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich ask Fluttershy to help them answer one of the greatest conundrums known to ponykind.
