A compendium of sketches of far corners of the multiverse. Ideas that were amusing enough to write down, but not quite meaty enough to build a full story on.

Marked "Complete" because each chapter is a standalone story, but I will be adding more stories as inspiration strikes. In spite of the "Teen" rating, most stories should have "Everyone" content; stories with actual "Teen" content will be marked with a [T].

I Am the Night ... Glider: Night Glider never forgave Starlight Glimmer, and now she's back to get her revenge. (Available in two wildly different versions.)
Domains: Regarding Luna's Moon, Celestia's Sun, and the difficulties of being the Only Sane Alicorn in the kingdom.

It's Sunset's first winter since being reformed, and her new friends are intent on her learning all about what she's been missing to help her get past her guilt over past actions. A chance encounter, however, leaves the girls stunned as they stumble across the human dimensions Sunset Shimmer, who is anything but what they expected.

Beware ye that enter searching for another Blink sequel. This is not a Blink-verse story. I repeat, NOT related to ocalhoun's Blink. Just saying this because the description will put some people off. I know it will. I know it.

Twilight Sparkle wakes to a wasteland. Equestria as she knows it has been destroyed. Her friends have scattered to the winds.

Twilight must find out what happened, where the Princesses have gone and what has happened to her friends. To do that, she must fight through a toxic gas that has changed ponies into something unrecognizable. Have her friends survived at all?

There's a dark secret behind all of this, and in a journey that heralds only pain and turmoil, does Twilight really want to know the truth? Or are some things best kept close to a pony's chest?

Cadance has felt off recently. Restless.

One could say she felt... not herself.

A short story:
Celestia failed to use the Elements of Harmony, and Nightmare Moon was victorious. Now the Queen of the Night rules a dying Equestria and Celestia sits in chains, powerless.
But a pony isn’t truly defeated until they give up.

Since he was young, Dark Star has had to face many a challenge for his image.
Charcoal fur, black mane, and even the same red eyes as the once villain Sombra. Sure, there were tales that the evil King had reformed, but no one had seem him in a long time, leaving Dark Star at the mercy of both children and adults alike accusing him of being a future abomination.

The day he earned his Cutie Mark didn't make things any easier. Having the image of the Grim Pony on a tome for a mark seemed to be an ill omen for all.

But the day he earned it was what set his path in stone. It was the day his mother died, and the day he wondered...what happened to ponies when they died?

Luna heard the stories. She heard the rumors and the gossip plenty enough even in her court.
Tales of a pony resembling Sombra going about, visiting ponies on their death beds just before they left Equestria for good. The Harbinger, they called him.

She was going to learn the truth, and she knew exactly where she would find him. After all, poor Shining armor never ascended like his wife. His time was at an end, and Luna knew the Harbinger would not pass up such a large figure finding his path to the afterlife.

"My little ponies, it is with great relief that I can finally tell you: The Crystal Wars are over. With the end of hostilities, my daughter --your hero-- Sunset Shimmer, is coming home."

After twelve long years, Sunset Shimmer is coming home. To Canterlot. Through twelve years of hard, bloody campaigning, Sunset had finally ground the Crystal Empire, and by extension the tyrant, Sombra to dust under her hooves. And she's coming back to Canterlot, the place of her birth.

As for Princess Celestia, The Celestial Monarch. She has waited for her daughter to come back so that she may impart one final lesson. But Sunset Shimmer has a lesson of her own:

War. War never changes. But ponies do.

We all have to accept the consequences of our actions. Sunset Shimmer learns this when she decides to return to Equestria with Twilight Sparkle and face Princess Celestia's judgement. Knowing full well that she did something wrong, she expects to be punished. However, sometimes our punishments are not what we expect.
