Immortals, men and women who live for hundreds, even thousands of years. They have lived among us since the birth of mankind, hiding in the shadows. Some of them cut a path of destruction through the centuries to satisfy their own selfish greed, seeing mortals as mere play things, but others act as heroes and use their gift to protect mankind. There is one thing that binds all immortals, both good and evil, there is a creed that holds for all of them:

There can be only one.

When one immortal challenges another, they fight to the death. The winner takes the losers head, and their strength and knowledge with it. There is one rule immortals must follow, inside or outside of these duels, they cannot kill on holy ground.

One of these heroes is Duncan MacLeod, a warrior born over 400 years ago in the Scottish Highlands. For centuries he has stood a silent protector, facing evil immortals and protecting the human race. He has fought with freedom fighters to over-throw dictators, and led oppressed peoples to freedom. He even fought in the American Civil War, and helped lead freed slaves to safety.

Now, an evil from another world sets her sights on him.

Alex, an orphan boy that lived in an orphanage in Seattle, Washington, gets an unexpected turn of events after the orphanage closes after he was the only orphan left, making him being taken to a foster care system. That was until the car he was in gets into an accident and he blacked out. And when he came to, let's just say "he" didn't feel like "him"self.

With his parents dead due to unexpected circumstances, 6-year-old Danny has been sent to live with his aunt and uncle who treat him like a slave than a nephew. His cries of help were answered in an unexpected way. When he was cleaning up the front yard, a mysterious wormhole opened up, and he got sucked in. When he woke up, he saw he was in a colorful world, and he wasn't human anymore, but a young pegasus colt, on a cloud about 200 feet from the ground. Luckily, he was helped by a rainbow maned pegasus.

A thousand years can change everything. Civilizations, monuments, even legends can fade into nothing. When the Mare in the Moon returned, she was little more than an old story to most of the kingdom. And all stories fade with time.

What would it really take for a ruler to turn on their own empire? And what could turn the Princess of Dreams into a living nightmare?

Companion to Child of the Moon. Reading that story is NOT required to understand this one.

One night, just a few days before Princess Twilight Sparkle's coronation as ruler of Equestria, Prince Alfred summons Princess Luna at the "Castle of The Two Sisters" for a delicate talk with her; this would be the last night he would have lied to her since what she deserves is only the truth.

After the horrendous drops that took place on the night of the drops, Matthews finds himself alone with only his rifle and what ammo he has left. While lost, he meets up and befriends someone that no one would'v ever expected in a war zone. That certain someone is Twilight Sparkle.

A United States Army Military Police soldier finds himself in Equestria after surviving an ambush in Afghanistan. Old enemies return to threaten the kingdom and it's up to Twilight, her friends, and the strange newcomer to stop them.

But it didn't surprise them because they have been in a world of ponies. What they didn't expect, is an army awaiting for their death.
