Not many ponies know this, but Daring Do always leaves her most valuable treasure behind whenever she goes on an adventure. And that treasure is you, Anonymous, her adopted human child. She's never gone for too long anymore though; not with you in her life. Or, at least that's how it was.

Eight long years have passed since she last flew up into the sky and out of your life to go on another adventure; almost half of your whole life. And yes, you did spend a lot of that time worrying, and wondering about where she could be, or what could've happened to her, but you also spent it honing your own adventuring skills. And now you're all grown up, and you're going after her.

With the wisdom of six good friends, determination in your heart, and mom's lucky hat on your head, there's no way that you can lose.

When trying to focus on her studies, Sunset Shimmer is stuck watching an annoying little filly who just won't let her study.

For her, 'best friends forever' isn't just a saying, and the bonds of a true friendship don't end when life does...

Anon In Equestria Story

The year is 1943 and World War Two rages on. Axis forces are starting to exhaust their supply's of iron. In a desperate attempt to get back in the war Germany launches an attack to conquer Greenland. Seeing Nazi Germany's aggression's Canada launches a mission to defend Greenland from the German invasion. After fighting over the Arctic for iron deposits, Anon a 24 year old RCAF pilot awakens in northern Equestria after being frozen for four million years. The only items that can remind him of humanity is himself and his beloved spitfire. (The plane of course.)

This story by all means is not historically accurate. The only things that are accurate in this story 'history wise' is the information given for the Supermarine Spitfire MK VB. As for physics and other sciency stuff I try to explain why things that should kill you don't.

A young girl, having been robbed of her childhood and very life by illness finds herself given a second chance in a strange world and with an even stranger body. With a new life, family, and even a brother, she tries to cope with the bizarre world she's found herself in while also trying to embrace her role and become worthy of the gift she has been given.
Being a princess can be hard however, even if it's only an honorary title, especially when you're the twin sister of Prince Blueblood.

As long as there have been humans, people have disappeared without explanation; and as long as there has been militaries, there have been those who go missing. In 1986 I was one of those who vanished into the land of Equestria. At the time I was flying an F-14 Tomcat with the U.S. Navy's VF-84 fighter squadron. But life has a funny way of getting in the way of our plans and causes us to create new ones. My story was one of many. Along the way I got to know many famous people and help improve the nation of Equestria. I now write my story and hope you enjoy.

Okay, it goes like this.

I was supposed to get married today, but fate had different plans. Those plans included me inexplicably appearing on an alien world of sapient horses who speak an entirely different language. Not only am I totally screwed with my wedding, but these sparkling horses are apparently hostile.

Yeah, I know it sounds stupid, but I'm not the kind of guy who can make up something like this.

When the mission results in disastrous consequences, Twilight swoops in to help. But, little does she know, Queen Chrysalis has plans to take advantage of Cinnamon and Ricochet's moment of weakness to reinstate her rise to power over Equestria.
