Some things, like kissing, hugging, and smiling, translate well in any world. Other things, like hand holding, nuzzling, and cuddling, however, can have different meanings in different civilizations.

Twilight Sparkle is determined to take advantage of this, or at least that's how it seems to poor Sunset Shimmer...

Sunset has a crush on Twilight. The problem is, she seems to have a type: people who are incredibly powerful, have some measure of authority and power in their positions, and still have very sweet personalities.

And Twilight is far more powerful and popular than Flash ever was.

But it's okay. It's not like Twilight likes her back, right? Right.

Loyalty, Kindness, Generosity, Honestly, Laughter and Magic; it is these qualities which make the Knights of Canterlot so worthy of their titles. But when the sorceress Sunset Shimmer, personal student of Princess Celestia and rumored lover of Princess Twilight defects from the Order of Canterlot and steals her crown, Twilight Sparkle asks her friends to help find her.

But will the six of them be enough to defeat Sunset Shimmer? And will Twilight have the fortitude to do what needs to be done when they finally do find her?

Twilight needed to work on that counter spell. The fate of the whole world depended on it. So yea, she had to stay up all night if that's what it took. She went for a snack, but Pinkie Pie really didn't have that much of a variety, so she just sat down and stared at a blank paper. And then Sunset woke up. Maybe she could help Twilight with the spell. Or... since everybody else was sleeping...

Yes, there is a picture in here. It actually inspired the story when I got a bit stumped on it.

Sunset and Twilight have nothing to do on a rainy Saturday, so Sunset invites Twilight to come over to the human world to hang out. There really isn't anything else to say, plot-wise.

With Sunset's high school graduation looming ever closer, Twilight knows she has to ask her a very important question while they travel together today. The problem is, she's just realized she doesn't know how to ask her question.

If there was one thing Twilight Sparkle had learned since ascending to alicornhood and becoming a princess, it was that ponies talked. Then, quite suddenly, they were talking about her.

And then they were talking about her love life since she was a single princess, unmarried and approachable.

She was still getting used to that part.

She was especially getting used to talking about it with Sunset.

Sunset has something special planned for today while she waits for Twilight to arrive. Being a Princess keeps her away most of the time but when Twilight has a bit of free time she spends it with someone she deeply cares about. Christmas was only a few days away and this is the only free time Sunset will have with Twilight before she has to head back and take care of their own holiday preparations.

Sunset Shimmer has had a few things on her mind for a while, so she sends Princess Twilight Sparkle a message asking her to visit and help Sunset think things through. After finding out her majesty's busy schedule will only allow her to stay just a little after Sunset's shift ends, Sunset asks Twilight to wait for her at her favorite coffee shop: the Sunlight Café.
