When Scootaloo crashes into twilight during a magic experiment they get teleported to an unknown city that's burning and has weird creatures scattered in the streets. As the two separated stranded ponies roam around the city separately trying to figure out where they ended up, will they try to make it home as fast as possible or will they stay to help a species that's being systematically eradicated?

Waking up in an asylum is about the last thing I expected this morning. Especially in a body that feels entirely alien and yet eerily familiar.

I mean, just the previous day I was having a good life, living with my family and working towards my dreams, like a normal human. And now I am supposed to believe this was all a lie I came up with to not have to face my "real" past?

What am I even supposed to believe? Both my life I thought was real and my "actual" life seem way too bizarre to be true now.

Let's see... how does this work again? Oh, it's already logging? Um... yeah, okay, hi there, whoever you are that's reading this! I'm Gadget, and I live with an old scientist dude who got fired from his job. Also, I'm a small unicorn that has an eerie resemblance to Smurfette.

One day, I hope I can figure out why the heck I look like I came straight out of My Little Pony.

Now, about that. You see, it's kind of a funny story...

This story is a sequel to Convergence

Equestria was just a game, one of an endless number of semi-illicit online games created to take advantage of the ubiquity of cheap augmented reality hardware. But that changed, when for no reason anyone knows, the virtual population of Equestria woke up.

Two decades have gone by since then, and the world has been transformed. The former game network has grown to encompass the backbone of trade, infrastructure, and research the western world over. Its vast computational resources have given rise to an infinitely subdivided world of overlays and sublayers, coterminous with the various cities and towns within Equestria. Every person in the modern world is assigned a Synth, a pony personal assistant that adapts to their needs and helps them access those parts of the world governed by Equestria's systems.

It is a world Dakota barely remembers, thanks to an automobile accident that turned most of her body to mush. But thanks to the medical miracles created by joint equestrian-human research, her life is saved by a remarkably new series of implants.

But Dakota isn't content to sit around while her body slowly knits itself together. There are unanswered questions to answer, questions that will ultimately lead her to the oldest mystery of both worlds.

A land that the powers of friendship are not very well able to help anything with. Join the princess of friendship as she grows up, learning real lessons of honor, duty, and more mature lessons of life and the cost of ruling a nation. Will she triumph over her trails or fall victim to the many MANY dangers of Nirn.

After a long battle with a great evil, Celestia managed to gather the strength and magic to banish them from Equestria. Nopony had any idea she would be trapped as well until she was gone. Ten years to the day and about to be declared dead, there are only three ponies who still fight to find her.

Princess Luna- whose only desire is to hold her sister in her forelegs once more.
Princess Cadance- who wants her aunt back and is willing to do whatever it takes.
Princess Twilight Sparkle- who is willing to sacrifice anything to bring her former teacher and friend home.

After a decade of searching Twilight, along with the help of her two friends and students Sunset and Starlight have found a small glimmer of hope.
