The following transcripts are of a journal found in Ponyville on April 16th of this year. The last recorded contact with the town had been 3 days prior, on the 13th, when a team under orders from Princess Celestia was sent to look into several missing pony reports in the area. When another group of investigators were sent on the 16th, the town was found deserted. The journal’s owner is believed to be the princess’s personal student, Twilight Sparkle. None of the town’s inhabitants have been located in the weeks since.

The woods of Canterlot are filled with many creatures. Bears, deer, and wolves are the norm.

However, legend tells of a creature that is half man and half goat which kills anyone who's unlucky enough to cross its path.

For Sunset Shimmer though, she doesn't have to wait cross paths with it.

Her home is right at its doorstep.

An alicorn who wishes to repair a friendship in any way possible finds herself aboard Equestria's largest space station. Her goal is to keep things friendly with her old friend, to avoid relapsing into the past and ending up alone. As Twilight attempts to fix the fence, the station becomes contaminated.

There is an Organism...big, relentless, aggressive, and extremely deadly that arrives on the once friendly station, causing chaos and turning the friendly atmosphere into a war zone. Twilight, who has no experience in mechanics or maintenance, has to fix the station.

Watch Twilight as the hunt begins, as ponies turn on one another, and as a friendship slowly begins to crumble. Could you tell me how long it would take you to...sign out?

In the civilized world of monsters, Twilight is a teenage human who never really worries about things outside of school and personal projects. In fact, inside her gated community she's never even met any monsters.

One day when Twilight finds a vampire out on her front lawn, slowly burning alive, Twilight manages to takes them inside, saving their life and giving Twilight her first real friend. However past experiences with friendship has left Twilight nervous in this prospect.

Is friendship really not so scary? Even if your new friends are monsters?

Inspired partially by the Monster High idea and by The Albinocorn's story Sunlight, which I highly recommend!

Warnings- Slight Gore, not enough that would warrant serious warning, but I rated Teen just in case.

There is a bit of truth to every legend, though the ravages of time can bury it deeply. Myths and lore become twisted, melded, and torn the longer they are around. On the day of the Friendship Games, the veil between two worlds is pierced. The magic of Equestria seeps through the barrier to permeate the world of humanity. Entities begin to come into existence. Lore and legend are gaining flesh, bone, and blood, yielding things both wondrous and horrible. Magic is powerful, but a limited resource. If the world at large discovers its existence, Equestria will become a target.

Thus, seven friends agree to keep the secret, but some things will not be hidden away.

A broad, clear path runs through a deep wood on the far side of Ponyville.

(This story is a non-canon derivation of The Evening Sonata arc, The Sunrise Sonata. There are some minor spoilers.)
