Equestria is still recovering from the effects of Discord's tainted tea. The air of calm determination from the princesses has prevented chaos in their panicky pony population. Now is the time to move forward and adapt to these changes, either one's own or those of family, friends and neighbors.

After receiving her first correspondence from Princess Twilight, Dragon Lord Ember decides to embark on a journey to Ponyville to help bridge the two cultures. Accompanying her, is the cantankerous Garble, one who Ember believes could benefit most from this foreign Pony concept of "friendship." Shortly after arriving, however, Ember learns that this supposed teacher of friendship is just using Spike as her personal servant. Such indignance will not stand. Not if Dragon Lord Ember has anything to say about it.

Discord has many artifacts, and he decides to give his "Dear Friends" a taste of what his mischief was like back in his heyday. At least, indirectly.

It's not HIS fault ponies are so fun to toy with.

What if instead of waiting in Twilight's throne room like some cheap, one-dimensional villian, Starlight decided to play it smart? What if she decided to strike at Twilight when she off guard? And what if instead of sending her through time, she decided to do something abit more drastic to the princess of friendship?

An What-if story for The Cutie Remark that came to my mind when I saw this picture. This story main theme is brainwashing and hypnosis.
