This story is a sequel to Snow and Ribbon

Party Favor confessed his feelings to Double Diamond, who returned them. Neither stallion knows where to go from there but they're trying nonetheless. The only problem is that they don't know what to do about Night Glider. The female pegasus has a serious problem regarding Sugar Belle. Obsession can't be healthy for a relationship, can it?

Another day, another skiing trip. Double Diamond now has the blessing of having a friend accompany him on his outings. On the other hoof, he finds it strange that Party Favor goes with him more often than Sugar Belle or Night Glider. Something is up with the balloon-making stallion. But what?

Perhaps a little advice from a local specialist might point him in the right direction.

Everything starts somewhere. Under the bark of a great tree you'll find where a sapling once began. The same can be said for all forms of life that to find out who they truly are, or where they began, you have to start at the roots. Deep in the soil they grow, and eventually blossom.

Caramel and Big Macintosh have been dating for a while. Two years to be exact. They've fallen into a routine of dates, romance, and finding time just to be with one another. Settling down might be seen as a negative to some, but it's comfortable for the two of them. The Apple Family reunion approaches quickly, set to take place for the first time in Appleloosa. Mac debates the question if he's ready to introduce Caramel to his extended family, and to take their relationship to a more serious level. During this, Caramel struggles to deal with an appearance of a letter on his doorstep. It's a letter that reminded him of the roots he abandoned, but never forgot.

Twelve scenes from the many lives of Rainbow Dash, inspired by the songs from Baths' Cerulean. Best enjoyed while listening along to the album.

Synopsis:

In anypony's life, there are the big days--tragedies and adventures, moments of loss and love, treasured memories to share and never forget.

But for every single day that comes once in a lifetime, there are hundreds that pass by unnoticed. Sometimes the simplest of moments can have just as much importance and life as the dramatic ones.

Here one can find snapshots of these moments--the every day, often unseen or even unregarded days of the lives of a variety of ponies.

Because every picture, no matter how common, is worth a thousand words.

After his mare-friend leaves for the week, Whinnywood's residential librarian encounters a unicorn who like it or not will change the way he sees himself.

"Who are we but the pony we become in our darkest moment?"

Fire Streak finally gets his big break, but even as the lights all turn toward him, he feels the cold presence of a lingering, blue shadow.

Also the picture is a real painting that I did several months ago.

On the way home from a stressful day for dinner on a rainy night, Fancy Pants and Fleur de Lis were riding in a cab when suddenly as they were passing the poorer part of Canterlot, someone threw a painting out of frustration into a garbage can below. Curious, the unicorn got out of the cab and pulled it out of the rain to find an painting done with impressive skill. As time goes by, his curiosity about the artist who paint it lead him to a stallion down on both himself and his luck by the name of Acrylic Brush.

After a little private showing of Big Macintosh and the rest of The Ponytones, Troy the gryphon stops him outside to ask him if he'll help him sing lower pitch. While attempting to help, Troy simply becomes more flustered and admits that the director of his Bridleway show constantly reinstates that his tone is too high for his appearance. Big Macintosh relates, having always been too big for his age so to speak. The two have a conversation about it.
