Twilight loved visiting Canterlot castle's royal library. The library received new books often, making every visit like a new adventure in her literary mind. She was almost jumping with joy when she saw the tall book cases containing the latest information written from many of the highly intellectual individuals in Equestria. In a matter of minutes, she had a cart full of books that sparked her never-ending interest. Turning the corner to the next shelf, she froze.

Standing in front of the shelf was a tall creature with piercing blue eyes, battle-aged gold armor, and a large, worn out halberd leaning against the shelf. It was reading a book intently. The creature sensed the frozen pony's presence, and turned its head. Its eyes locked on to Twilight's.

"Hello. How do you do?"

This story is a sequel to The Twilight Child

It's bad enough when you're having a bad day, but to wake up the completely wrong species? And have the only pony who can help fix this be in another city several hundred miles away? Much worse.
But for two young ponies, who have already gone through hell not one month ago, surely that's as bad as it gets, right? It's not like they're having any other problems, right?
They are?
It's going to be one of those days, apparently.

Mis-communication has started many a war, but in this case maybe calling it a war was too generous.

The "war" is over, Twilight has successfully orchestrated a bloodless end to the Griffons' aggression, but only now does she realize that there is more to winning than she had first assumed, especially against a nation that holds war as a central part of their culture...

Now Twilight must deal with the aftermath while facing a challenge she never anticipated: being seen as a conqueror.

This can be read alone, but I recommend reading the letter that started it all for a chuckle and a little exposition. This series of expositional one-shots can also give some additional world-building.

A simple accident with magic results in a pony claiming to be an accountant appearing on Twilight Sparkle's door-step, and that is just the beginning of an epic tale of revenge, laughter, chaos, family, petty squabbles and on a few occasions, true love, spread across time, space, and entire universes.

A derailment at Ponyville Engine Sheds means that Locomotion has the day off, so he decides to spend it with Apple Bloom and Sweetie-Belle. While hanging out at Sugarcube Corner, the two fillies tell him the tale of how Fluttershy and Big Macintosh first met, and how the Cutie Mark Crusaders, having nearly ruined everything for the two ponies with the whole Hearts and Hooves day fiasco, tried to make amends for it all...

Practicing her sonic rainboom technique on a cool morning in Ponyville with Applejack as her spotter, Rainbow Dash rescues another pegasus from an imfamous Falling Leaf Spin.

Upon recovery, they discover that the young mare had been in posession of an extremely sophisticated camera, now a pile of scrap metal on the ground.

In an attempt to console the distraught pegasus, Dash and AJ search for a solution to her busted optics, only to end with the young pegasus leaving for the manufacturer in a rush of excitement.

Things take a turn for the strange when the same pegasus returns four hours later with a brand new camera... From a round-trip journey of over five thousand miles.

Tempers flare, challenges are issued, and Rainbow Dash's pride is put to the ultimate test.

What is the secret of the photographer known as Dainty Dish?

If she had been a good little filly, she would have listened to her mommy and daddy and her teacher and the esteemed mayor of Ponyville. If She had been a good little filly she would have stayed indoors, hiding under her bed as she waited for the Royal Guard and the Princesses to arrive and deal with the dragon. If she had been a good little filly, the kind of child that always got what she wanted for Hearth's Warming, she would not be on the trail leading up the mountain, to where the dragon now rested.

Glitter Belle is not a good little filly. She is a curious one, whose curiosity has brought her face to face with a very, very large dragon. Let's hope it's in the mood to talk.
